Excluding amounts given to the campaigns by the candidates themselves, Tom and Chuck both outraised Carly.
Campbell raised $2.6 million, DeVore $2.4 million, and Carly $7.4 million. Subtract out Carly's $5.5 million she gave her own campaign and she "raised" less than either Tom or Chuck. Elections should not be reduced to which millionaires can spend the most money to blast their untruthful campaign slogans across the airwaves.

As predicted, they’ve already started rolling out the job-losing and worst CEO status of FioRINO. Expect this to continue. The problem is that these criticisms are actually valid. FioRINO is a big fat gift to the witch Boxer.

As far as your statement that elections should not be about millionaires. In a capitalist system we have decided to ration resource by the use of money. In communist societies they ration resources by government fiat.
By using money to ration resources the best and brightest and most productive are able to accumulate more resources then others thereby ensuring that the cream rises to the top and our society as a whole advances in productivity and talent.
the fact that Carly was able to accumulate so much money that she was able to add $5.5million to her her campaign is a positive for her. It also makes others that want to lead our nation double their efforts to accumulate more resources. what a capitalist society and the government of that society need to do is ensure a level playing field to ensure those that accumulate those resources get them through work, effort, smarts etc and not corruption or connections. From Carly's history I would say she earned the money she used.
Please study history. What rises to the top is not the brightest, nor the most productive. (Ref: Southern Pacific, Anaconda Copper, etc)

capitalism is rationing of resources by the use of Money. you need to study economics, history and political theory. while there are always exceptions to the rule those with the most money are most likely those most productive in society or what the present society considers to be the most valuable.
that is the underlying theory of capitalism and why it works the best of all economic systems. the most productive gets the most resources. you may not think Carly was the most productive but the capitalistic system sure did.
capitalism is not moral code this is also why crony-capitalism is such a threat to our society. It bypasses this basic rule of capitalism and allows those not most productive to gain those resources. It destroys the productivity of the system and causes stagnation and decline in society. Now Carly rose in the ranks of HP and made the CEO position, she translated that power and hard work into a contract which gave her $20million if she was let go. I see no problem with that.
