Former Hewlett-Packard Chief Executive Carly Fiorina will be the Republican Party nominee in the November race against Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer.
Fiorina was the top vote-getter in Tuesday's primary election in a Republican field that included former Rep. Tom Campbell and conservative Assemblyman Chuck DeVore (R-Irvine). ..............."
Boxer vs Fiorina, the better of the two is Fiorina.
We voted and pushed for DeVore!!
One of the worst choices we made as Republicans in CA was to recall Gray Davis. It watered down conservatism!! Davis was terrible but look what happened. Arnold is just " one of them" with a R by his name.
If we start squabbling between ourselves we will lose strength and energy to fight one of the most difficult political battles of our country's lifetime, November 2010-12.
I am convinced that what happens in the next two years will shape our country from here on out.
I strongly support the Tea Party Express and the conservative movement.
Most here do...
but we need to be careful not to squabble so bad among us that we lose sight of our goal.... to purge the liberal democrats one by one....
Praying for a HUGE Victory in November.

Your ignorance is appalling.
I am just asking people to look at the big picture, which is getting at least 51 Republican Senate seats. If we don’t get that, nothing else matters because then Obama has 2 more years to pass every piece of communist legislation he wants.
If FioRINO becomes left of Gerry Brown, it just does not matter with regard to retaking the Senate and preventing Read from being majority leader and cramming more communist legislation down our throats.
Say what you want, FioRINO will be to the right of communist Boxer AND will be another Republican Senate seat.
I have no clue how far to the left FioRINO will lean. I do know how far to the left communist Boxer will lean.
What is so hart to understand about this?
I continue to read a parade of posts pointing out problems with FioRINO, but NONE point out that we are FAR WORSE KEEPING BOXER.
Are we better off with Boxer helping to keep Harry Read majority leader and rubber stamping Obama’s agenda?
Are we better off with Fiorina taking Boxer’s place and coming 1 Republican Senate seat closer to putting Boehner back as Senate majority leader so he can halt future socialist legislation.
Are you really baffled by this simple strategy?
Do you want Boxer to stay in the Senate?
Boehner isn’t a Senator.
RINOs suck. I am saying we need RINOs to beat communist Democrats like Boxer in the midnight blue communist states like California. RINOs like McLame in Arizona should not happen. Arizona is red enough that a conservative should be elected. California is deep blue. You are not going to get a conservative from California.
RINOs in socialist states.
CONSERVATIVES in red states.
Is this that hard to understand?
He didn't, apparently. How could he, with a state party full of REPUBLICANS who don't have confidence enough in their convictions to vote them, & treat the primary like a HS popularity contest.
And the rest of the time wonder why the state is so screwed.
Well, we know Boxer won’t vote for repealing Obamacare. I don’t know how Fiorina will vote, but I know we are screwed with Boxer.
I didn’t follow her campaign tactics closely enough
to see if it burned bridges between her and Campbell and
DeVore. Or vice-versa, which is where the REAL issue is.
C. and DeV. probably knew at every point she’d take the nomination, but did THEY lambast her , in effect, as a RINO?
If so, it would make no sense for them to do a turnabout and
ask their voters to vote for her in November.
But, she, essentially RINO born and bred or not, can be
gently made to change by her own voters once she gets into
office. They just have to keep reminding her, if she needs
reminding, who put her in office, and what they expect from
her. Yes, she’s got some unfortunate allegiances, alliances,
and there are some unfortunate facts about HP and her tenure there: but has anyone really looked at the possibility that with a Republican majority, there SHOULD, FINALLY, and at LONG LAST, be NO NEED to ‘reach across the aisle’ to Dems? In so many ways they need to reach across the aisle to us, as they break off, bit by bit from Obama
and his agenda.
Boxer filed a deadly blow this morning. Fiorina, fired from her job and shipped 30,000 jobs overseas. If this is close to true, the senate race is over in Cal. The repubs commited suicide yesterday.
Unbelievable. Now you seem to only care about getting R’s into the Senate. Well I thought we were trying to get conservatives into the Senate. Look at how difficult it is getting the RINOs to not get along with the Democrats. This site is exclusively for conservatives and not RINO lovers.
Are you disoriented too?
What many here don't seem to grasp is Fiorina is a deeply flawed candidate - she is custom ordered for Boxer's style of campainging.
ZOT @ #176
LOL! IATZ.
Must have been a potty mouth. There were several replies removed by the mods up thread.

Because when one member of the Falcon Party gets up to go to the rest room, they lose half their support.
Time to drop the Chuck DeVore video ad, with that horrible picture of Fiorina wearing that horrible outfit?
DeVore came in a distant third, so we seem to have gotten the second most conservative candidate nominated.
Have all the fun you want being a gadfly with your backhanded insults. I can take it.
I have a choice to vote for Fiorina or let Boxer win. I will vote for Fiorina to prevent Boxer winning with the net result that the Democrats keep one badly needed Senate seat in order to retain the majority and keep rubber stamping Obama’s agenda.
I have no clue if you are a California voter or not. If you are, and if you allow Boxer to keep her seat, you are helping the Democrats.
So no, I am not disoriented or need tranquilizers. I pragmatically understand the vital importance of getting rid of Boxer. You do not.
