Former Hewlett-Packard Chief Executive Carly Fiorina will be the Republican Party nominee in the November race against Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer.

Fiorina was the top vote-getter in Tuesday's primary election in a Republican field that included former Rep. Tom Campbell and conservative Assemblyman Chuck DeVore (R-Irvine). ..............."

A message from Chuck DeVore

“I just completed my telephone call to Carly Fiorina, to congratulate her on her victory this evening. She is our party’s nominee. I endorse her. I will support her. I will vote for her. And I call upon all of you to do the same in November.”

Wow, that makes Devore a RINO by your standards.

Some people can’t get it. If he can not win in the primary how is he going to win the general.

Supporting the nominee versus pushing RINOs to be the nominee is the same to you, MENSA?

........................................A lot of you think all conservatives will win every election. It’s not going to happen in the commie states.

Also, you all have to build your farm teams. That’s where you’re needed the most right now.

Nice post.

Gotten a lot of mileage out of it the last few years, that’s for sure.

"I don’t see why a Republican needs to be governor when the whole economy fails."

You make a great observation. Here in Wisconsin, we're on the fast tract to CA. If a conservative wins the gov (and it's looking extremely great! the polls are overwhelming in favor for him), we will beat it back, and this guy is similar to CC from NJ. If a dem wins, we'll just be another CA or MI. But, if we just keep voting in D's, it will only get worse. We have to stop this madness. If it takes a Rino for now, so be it. We have to remove all rats. They just spread disease.

I think there are some on FR still waiting for the Dewey v Truman outcome. This is how stupid they are.

I'm waiting for the DNC-paid clips of her saying "NO American has a right to a job" in order to tie her (and the eeeeevil Republicans, supply-side rich white people like Reagan, all of them!) to the recession, and getting Reid, Pelosi, and Obama off the hook...

Criticize Carly all you want when she's wrong, her "No American has a right to a job" is a conservative message and right on target.

I agree not sold on Whitman. Carly IMO is the best we can hope for in Ca at this time. As the country moves back to the right Ca will also and maybe in couple years CA will allow a more conservative senator to win.

No executive has a right to a profit, either.

Especially not by throwing their own countrymen and country overboard.

Mercantilism != Free Trade.

Cheers!

We’re going to regret this when the socialists set her up as the GOP presidential nominee in 2012 or 2016.

LOL!

At least I didn’t start a political “party” that couldn’t even get a handful of people to join, EINSTEIN.

the flip side is that if we keep voting for RINO’s we will never have a conservative. I don't mind losing an election to achieve a better long term result. Case in point, zero and the current congress. As a result of their past victory, we are in a better position to place some conservatives in power. Alternatively, we could keep watering down the party until both think alike.

The one positive about Fiorina being the GOP nominee is she seems to actually want to win, unlike Boxer’s last opponent, Bill Jones.
