PHOENIX (AP) The National Rifle Association has endorsed John McCain in Arizona's Republican Senate primary.
(Excerpt) Read more at google.com ...
First Sarah endorsed him and now the NRA endorsed him. Who is next, Fred Thompson. You got to give it to McCain. He has friends in the right places.
Time to face facts. McCain will be reelected for another 6 years. I can live with that. Better him than some Democratic smuck.
RINO Fred has already endorsed RINO McCain!

You won't be able to survive for long when Traitor McCain stabs you in the back so many times you bleed to death, probably in the arms of Øbama.
"I think the Democratic Party is a fine party, and I have
no problems with it, in their views and their philosophy."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 02 APR. 2004
"I have to tell you, [Obama] is a decent person, a person that you
do not have to be scared [of] as president of the United States."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 10 OCT. 2008
Fine piece of satire ;-)
McCain will push hard for amnesty, and cap n trade.
Pure evil SOB.
John McCain is the most powerful Republican in the Senate and probably the most powerful Republican in DC. If McCain wants to get something done, it will be done, even if he has to reach across the aisle to do it. I may hate that about him -- his good ole boy networking, and selling out the country to suit his personal agenda -- none the less, I must acknowledge that McCain does command the kind of power that makes things happen, even if its the wrong things that happen.
My cousin and her husband live in AZ, and we talked about this election. It isn't as though either of them "love McCain" --- but they aren't sold on JD either. JD was their Congressman for a number of years and he didn't exactly thrill them. They both loved his radio show and agreed with most everything he said on the air, but as a Congressman, JD"s record wasn't stellar. Now, if it were me, I'd still vote JD just to get that POS McCain out of office, but they are less convinced.
I hope that I am completely wrong, but I have a terrible feeling that John McCain will ultimately die of great old age, while still a Senator. And that really sucks!
ditto
McCain is a Democrat schmuck, and there’s nothing Democratic about it. No personal offense intended, but that’s just the facts.

“My cousin and her husband live in AZ, “
Tell them to get ready for
Cap N Trade
Amnesty
Because the “rich and powerful” McCain will see them through.
Screw the NRA. I am done with them. I will send them a letter too. McCain sucks.

Gun Owners of America on McCain's Record.
GUNS AND SCHOOLS: THE POLITICS (McCain tries to grab guns, 1999)
CITIZENS COMMITTEE URGES JOHN McCAIN TO RETIRE FROM UNITED STATES SENATE
Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA)
That’s too bad.
Someone holding a boot over their heads?
That does it. With the heads of the NRA over in Nevada holding Harry Reids hand was on the verge of being to much. Endorsing McCain is a bridge too far. I will not renew my NRA membership.
STOP!
stop right there.
they are NOT a Conservative Organization
they are a Pro Gun Organization
unfortunately Juan McCain has an ‘A’ rating.
The Late Texas Democrat, Charlie Wilson would have been endorsed by the NRA...Murtha was endorsed by the NRA.
It is a political organization only on the 1 front....Pro gun....dont confuse the issue
the NRA has the power to let you keep your guns...GOA is a fledgeling irritant to the powers in Washington. the NRA is Power in Washington.
they dont back anti gun candidates...they do howerver back liberal candidates like Juan McCain. unfortunate but they do a good job keeping our guns...
The NRA gave the majority of America the right to carry concealed and dont kid yourselves....
With only a few exceptions, the NRA is basically the National Republican Association.
If there's an incumbent Republican in any particular contest, they are practically guaranteed to be endorsed by the NRA.
I’ll be reconsidering re-upping with them - and letting them know why.
Neither will I. I've been a NRA member for decades but I just can't stomach their constant compromising anymore. The NRA have become firmly established within the cocktail and social suck up circles inside the DC beltway.
I also think life will go on without either The American Rifleman or The American Hunter magazines.
