Now you know why I tossed the NRA out on the heap years ago. I remember one time back in 2008, getting a call from some NRA fundraiser, and giving them a sound earlashing about how worthless their organisation was for refusing to support one of the two conservative candidates in the GOP Presidential primary that year.

I will maintain my NRA base membership, but effective immediately, I will no longer give to any of the NRA ancillary causes and special fundraisers.
