The Coming Resignation of Barack Obama

Months ago, I predicted in this column that President Obama would so discredit himself in office that he wouldn't even be on the ballot in 2012, let alone have a prayer of being reelected. Like President Johnson in 1968, who had won a much bigger victory four years previously than Obama did in 2008, President Obama will be so politically defunct by 2012 that he won't even try to run for reelection.

I am now ready to predict that President Obama will not even make it that far. I predict that he will resign in discredited disgrace before the fall of 2012. Like my previous prediction, that is based not just on where we are now, but where we are going under his misleadership.

Is the President Above the Law?

Watergate was supposed to have established that Presidents are not above the law. If that is so, President Obama may have to resign for breaking the law in the Sestak affair.

I agree with you about the “medical problems.” And that would also explain the flurry of tabloid articles about half a year ago stating that BHO had lost over 20 pounds and was dying of lung cancer. They said he had a hacking cough, but weight loss & cough can signify plenty of different illnesses, some of them also terminal.

I’m not surprised. The first time I ever saw it was in ‘Illuminatus!’ by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea. I thought they made it up. It is a bit hard to say and only geeks like me even know what it might mean.

barry has zero power. He is doing exactly what he is told to do. barry would NEVER throw his "power that be" under the bus......he knows his life is at stake, so I highly doubt he would do anything to expose them.

I see barry as a useful idiot, to those pulling the strings. barry knows he is just a tool and if he does his "job" correctly, he will live a life of luxury, where he can golf 24/7.

What this fool DOESN'T know is that such people NEVER keep their promises. Once the job is done, it's "clean up" time.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that I know EXACTLY what you mean about the things that BHO cannot say, even off the teleprompter, and sound sincere. Mostly these are things about the troops, about the war, etc. He sounds as though he can barely stop himself from barfing into his sleeve. It’s horrible.

And it’s about the only thing that IS transparent about his administration: his loathing and utter lack of understanding of our military, our foreign policy, our national security.

I doubt the BC will come to the attention of MSM, the question has been hanging out there for awhile and they still have chosen not to say anything about it and secondly obama has spent mucho denaro to hide it. It would be nice if someone dig some serious digging, knew ppl in high places who could dig deep and find out - I’d be really interested in what obama is hiding and mainly where he was born. I think we have been snookered good, real good.

barry is NO narcissist. He is just a puppet playing a part. A true narcissist WOULD be able to speak without a teleprompter. A true narcissist could play ANY part, on his own....without any help.

I do think those "controlling the strings" made a HUGE mistake in choosing barry, and they know it. I don't see this man living past the next year or two.

Do you think the reason for his resignation/not running will be said to be because of health reasons? People are sending me emails about everything from Parkinson's to AIDS to lung cancer to anorexia to... narcissism! Not sure what the spin will be but the buzz this last month or so is that he will be a one-term POTUS.
