On a July afternoon in 2006, Patrick Hale microwaved a bag of popcorn for his two young children and sat down with them to watch television. When he got up to change the channel, he heard a strange noise behind him, and turned to see his 23-month-old daughter, Allison, turning purple and unable to breathe.

This is not a joke, it happend to me- sort of. The little pieces of kernal got trapped on the bakc of my tongue and caused of choaking sensation reaction. I was finally able to dislodge the particle. I though I was going to die. I don’t eat popcorn anymore because of it.

If any food is not Jello, it needs to have a "Not Jello" label so people know its not Jello.

I believe people can choke and even die from aspirating;however, you can aspirate on ANYTHING....a pill,a cheerio, a cracker,a nut,etc....ANYTHING...
