Lol McCain is a real Democrat
Old John is really searching for something, anything he can use against JD. Let me know when McCain finally figures out we’re at WAR with anyone...like Mexico and the Islamists he loves to coddle.
McCain....rocking chair....porch. Time for Juan McAmnesty to head home for some rest.
What I thought too. I wasn’t alive, but I distinctly remember being taught and having read that Hitler did us the favor of declaring war on the US after we declared war on Japan, because it wasn’t a done deal that the US Congress would go to war with Germany. It was unclear to what extent the isolationists had changed their minds after Pearl Harbor.
Why doesn’t McCain zero in on the border instead of wasting the time with political hit pieces. McCain has been in office years and the border is still wide open. All he has done so far is come out with an ad that says he wants to build a fence. Talk is cheap.
I respect McCain for his war service. Now I want to respect him for solving the problem of the wide open border. McCain, it is long past time you got to work on this issue.
Exactly! Well, with the spelling error corrected. Of course, since my spelling is atrocious and on second thought, we can stick with exactly. You make an iomportant point!
McC best watch out and pray that the Keating Five files aren’t the next docs released.
He’s such a petty jackass.
Obviously this ad is to tie Hayworth with imagery of nazi Germany.
Germany declared war on the US first, and this of course was a bigger mistake by Hitler than his unilateral invasion of the USSR. He should have persuaded the Japanese to attack Siberia, not Pearl Harbor. That would have prevented Stalin from transferring the Siberian forces to Moscow in 1941, the reinforcements that saved the city and prevented an outright German victory at that point. The whole course of the war hinged on that.
Bingo, after the Dec. 7th attack on Pearl Harbor by Japan, the US declared war against Japan. Japan had a strategic arms treaty with Germany and Italy. After the US declared war on Japan, Germany and Italy ‘formally’ declared war on the US on Dec. 11th. Subsequently, the US ‘broadened’ its terms of war to include Germany and Italy with Japan (thereafter known as the Axis Powers).
It would have made more sense strategically if Japan had done as Hitler requested. However, Japan had fought a couple of battles with the Russians on land in the late 30’s and got soundly beaten both times. I suspect that they didn’t want to face the Russians again and decided to go after easier targets.
Still one of the great what-ifs of history.
Another what if was that Hitler wanted Japan to secure Madagascar. However, the battle Coral Sea made the Japanese realize that the American Carriers were a real threat to their war plans. Instead of carrying out an invasion of Madagascar the Japanese headed back East, resulting in their staggering defeat at Midway.
Germany declared first, then US reciprocated.
Sure is... ;-)
Most of my spelling mistakes come from big fingers and never having a typing class. I actually can spell pretty well.
WHY would you expect those documents to be released BEFORE the primary? The WH can eliminate Obambi’s former opponent and help keep the Senate a little more under his thumb by waiting a few more days to release them.
Sheesh.
I saw that it was just an extra letter and figured it was just a typo. That aside, you made a very good point in your post.
