That works for the fakes like in pa-12. That will not work for the incumbents who voted to support this buffoon

He’s running low on diversions, and his seeds of socialist economics and diplomatic passivism look perilously close to bearing their expected fruit.

What happens at -25 that won’t happen at -20?

There will be a point of "critical mass" where he has negligible "strong supporters" and a majority of "strong disapprovers" among the white middle class. At that point, people will feel free to openly criticize and mock him without any blow-back from strong supporters.

Once that point is reached, it's all downhill.

Doesnt matter to him. He is not up for election till 2012. By then voters could possibly be blaming someone else.

I would tend to agree that there is a tipping point. Our society is still very politically correct and there are many things "you can't say". Also, Liberals tend to screech and "get in your face" but a good many Conservatives still abide by the maxim "You leave me alone, and I'll leave you alone". We aren't looking for confrontation.

But, at some point, people are going to come right out and start saying what they think of the poor, of the blacks, of the Muslims, of the homosexuals, of the feminists, of the corrupt politicians, or the activist judges, and of the petty criminals. That's torches and pitchfork time.

I think that this will snowball. Many people live lives of quiet desperation, thinking "unacceptable thoughts" without realizing that all the people around them are actually thinking the same thing. If people start being honest, a lot of eyes will open and the outrage will increase very quickly. There will be a Rising.

I’m sure before 2012 we’ll see Obama wearing a bright orange hunter’s cap carrying a Bible in one hand a rifle in the other hand and spitting tobacco.

Yeah but how does it matter? The anti-American muslim thug doesn't give a sh*t about what we think. In fact he despises us and isn't shy about showing it and yet he STILL gets 44% approval from Americans!

I've got a terrible feeling about the future. I think the GOP wins big in November but that won't stop obama. He has no regard for our laws, courts or the will of the American people. His administration will continue to do what it damn well pleases and nobody will step up to stop him. Our system of checks and balances only work when all parties are willing to accept their constraints. When you have a radical administration hell bent on destroying the country there are no checks and balances.

“if men were angels...”

This is why the constraints were put in our Founding documents and especially in the Constitution.

This does no good, though, when the “restrained” party simply ignores the restraints and no one enforces those restraints.

Big FREAKIN deal...the bastard already got the majority of his agenda!! He don't care...LET THEM EAT CAKE! As noticeable during the Circus dinner at the WH with Calderon! I'm afraid by the time we kick his @$$ out, our country will be in shambles! PLUS, it seems the GOP is AGAIN snatching Victory from the jaws of defeat(or something like that)!

Watch however for ever democrat in Congress to run on a fake platform that they are not who they really are, but pretending to be "independent moderates" or "opposed to Obama."

Exactly...just as we saw in PA-12 last week.

ClearCase_guy: “But, at some point, people are going to come right out and start saying what they think of the poor, of the blacks, of the Muslims, of the homosexuals, of the feminists, of the corrupt politicians, or the activist judges, and of the petty criminals.”

I have a problem with that statement, because being poor or being black isn’t the same thing as being a corrupt politician, activist judge, or petty criminal. You’re making negative statements about entire racial, religious, and economic groups that are simply not fair. For example, there are millions of honorable and law-abiding poor folks, blacks, and Muslims.

Precisely. Look at the comments made by Napolitano and the head of ICE last week. They simply refuse to accept any referrals of illegals from Arizona! What good does it do to have the laws on the books when those entrusted and obligated to enforce those laws simply refuse to do so? Look at how Holder's DOJ refused to act on the Black Panther thugs obstruction of polling places. It's unbelievaaable but it's happening. Congress refuses to pass Cap and Trade? Big deal...the EPA is going to run it's own regime and nobody can stop them. or at least nobody is willing to stop them.
