For Tea Party demos along streets & highways it might be effective to space ourselves like Burma Shave signs. Takes 4 -- 3 with the lines 1 with the punch line: Tea Party. Some samples follow.
At one of these events a guy who'd worked with the city traffic planners pointed out the things to look for: where the freeway exits were & how long the cars had to wait at intersections.

Don Quixote jousted the windmill And Spain ingested that fateful pill. With unemployment at 30 percent They will now reluctantly relent. But here at home in the USofA They’ll force feed us that pill anyway. Tea Party

Good idea, but these need to be shorter and snappier. They don’t work as they are here.
