Just what happens if a Koenigsegg CCR is raced against one of the meanest of "street" Ferraris (- in the clip below the Ferrari Enzo GTB F1 is performing)?
I love Italy. But sometimes, I feel my part of Europe also deseves some recognition in the domain of cars.
Very fun website:

Didn’t know of this site before. Wonderful noices!
Keep it up, as long as you don’t drive like this:

(No, I don’t wish to honor him. What he’s up to equals plain insanity).
Good Lord!
I always enjoy your posts. Thank you for this one, which was just pure fun.
Sure the Koenigsegg is faster, but the Ferrari is art in motion while the Koenigsegg is... how to put this gently... a little on the homely side.
Also, how well does the Koenigsegg do holding itself down in the corners vs the Ferrari?

- Thanks a lot.
If you purchase a Koenigsegg, be careful.
My car has only 200 hps, which I think is enough for me, but sometimes they tend to act somewhat unruly.
Best of regards from the West Coast of Sweden, home to SAAB, Volvo and Koenigsegg!

- I’m no expert myself, but as far as I know, most who are consider Koenigsegg to perform very well in this respect.
Sometimes homely looks good ;)
Maintaining those speeds for that long its a wonder nothing happened to him. If a car veered over there was no way he would slow down enough in time.

I do have a lot of respect for Porsche GT 850, McClaren F1 and Mercedes CLR-GT1 though. Nor would I kick a girlfriend who owned a Koeniggsegg, Veyron, Diablo or even merely a Ferrari 288 GTO (and let me drive them) out of bed for eating crackers.
To bad the ZR-1 wasn’t playing with the CCR.

In cars I trust.
We could probably argue for hours and days here over what nation has the most convincing approach to cars.
Some things are obvious though:
1. Ferraris are among the best performance cars ever made.
2. We Swedes can come up with other stuff than boxy tanks.
But, above all, let’s not forget about what America has accomplished in these domains:
