The knock on Rand Paul from both Republicans and Democrats during the primary was his electability in a general election. His conservo-libertarian views would push the Republican ticket out of the mainstream, allowing the eventual Democratic nominee to grab the center and win a takeaway in the midterms. Rasmussens latest poll of likely voters in Kentucky show that the problem may be reversed, and that Jack Conway is in serious danger of being marginalized:
Rand Paul, riding the momentum of his big Republican Primary win on Tuesday, now posts a 25-point lead over Democrat Jack Conway in Kentuckys U.S. Senate race, but theres a lot of campaigning to go.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Kentucky, taken Wednesday night, shows Paul earning 59% of the vote, while Conway picks up 34% support. Four percent (4%) percent prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided.

I disagree. He went into the lion's den and answered under aggressive questioning the questions he is going to have to answer over and over again anyway. The Left won't turn loose of his strict distinction between public and private property and government and private funds with regards to discrimination.
I agree with him and it is an important but fine distinction. I believe he will attract more support than the Left imagines.
It's still nowhere near as severe as the mental illness that Jack Conway inherited from his dad.
;) ;) ;)
Was highly disappointed in Fox’s attack on Rand Paul on Special Report this evening. They were as bad as the rest of msm in gleefully pointing out that he disagreed with one part of the Civil Rights Act dealing with private business. They might be very surprised that this will prove to be a plus, not a minus, for him.
I'm shocked, shocked I tell you...
The media on behalf of its sponsors dem and faux rep alike will be on Paul like a cheap suit until election day. Compared to what they will throw at him Sarah Palin was coddled.
With a name like freedumb I assume you know of the error in your tagline.
and start doing effective actions our self. Letting the wheels of the process turn is quick for them (legislation and broad) and not for months for us. Waiting for the election seems like to little too late.
No joke we all need to be in our respective senators offices or representatives office and not going away til things change. If we continue much longer then it will be too late.
Right now it is doubtful if we will ever have a honest election. ACORN by any name can falsify votes and alter it. God bless America, the lost, and help us in our day, in Jesus name. amen.
Was the poll taken after that stupid decision to go on MSLSD? The media will draw this thing legs and IMHO they will run it to death.
The PA guy said he was against Obamacare. He’s pro life, pro gun, and he was always working in Murtha’s PA home office so everyone got to know him.
He also lied in his ads against the repub who was for VAT. So the dem put out lots of ads saying the repub was for 23% VAT. He neglected to say the repub wanted the VAT to replace the income tax.
Too bad none on our side bother to get the facts. I heard all this info from John Fund on the WABC radio immediately after the election. He had lots of good inside info on all the races.
DNC taking credit?
The simple fact is that we’re going to win some and we’re going to lose some. We just have to win enough to yank the gavel out of Nancy Pelosi’s bony claw.

I am not quite sure of your point. It is possible the “he” is a bit ambiguous, but those who know the parable will understand.
Maddow is terrified right now. All this playing the race card is going to backfire big time. Fortunately for us, they will not realize it until it is far too late for them.
He was probably for the Fair Tax but it is not a VAT. They may have mischaracterized it as that.
The dem deliberately left out the fact that it was to replace the income tax, not add to it.
We need people who can evaluate every single race and make adjustments to polling and the dem lies that will be spewing forth.
25 points? I have a feeling I am going to get slammed with robocalls from Conway’s campaign, democrats, and other outside groups.
I was suggesting that your name is an oxymoron and that you are not dumb at all. Therefore, the mistake in your tagline is on purpose. Regretfully, it seems I was wrong.
Here is your tagline: The frog who rides on a scorpion should not be surprised when he last hears “it is my nature.” Think about it. Who is the swimmer, the frog or the scorpion? Who is the largest, the frog or the scorpion? Who would be riding on whom whether swimming or walking, or hopping in the frog’s case?
That is only one of several versions of the parable. In this case it is the scorpion on the bank of a stream asking the frog for a ride to the other side. The frog balks because he is afraid of the poisonous scorpion but the scorpion assures him he would never harm someone so generous as to give him a ride across the stream. The frog relents and the scorpion climbs on his back. You know the rest of the story.
Fix your tagline.
That is the FAir Tax but it is a sales tax rather than a VAT. It requires a constitutional amendment to eliminate the income tax and the IRS with it. The tax would be collected and remitted by the states just as all sales taxes are now.
