To set up the video at the end of this article, I need to take you back to February 23, 2009 when Arizona State Senator Jonathan Paton (R-Tusgon) invited law enforcement officials to the Capital for a hearing. Paton asked the officers to describe how bad the border violence has become in Arizona. What the Senate Judiciary Committee learned was that Pima and Cochise counties were seeing an alarming increase of more and more "Rape Trees". These are memorials, if you will, that are left behind by Mexican drug cartel members, and illegal male immigrants who have raped illegal female immigrants and then forced their victims to hang their clothes, usually panties or bras, on trees. With seized weapons on display, the officials described how border violence plays out in human smuggling, home invasions, rapes, auto thefts, and kidnappings.
The pictures below were taken by a "Minuteman Border Patrol" volunteer. A rape tree is what Mexican illegals create with the panties and bras of the women they have raped along the trail to America. After they have had their way with the women and young girls, they force them to hang their panties or bras, on the trees as a sign of their conquest. On this trip the Minutemen found only 3 such trees, the last trip.....

There are liberals out there attempting to deny the existence of these trees. Even though the women in the video admit the things that have happened to them, the liberals want to say that it is all a fantasy of the conservatives who want to just bash the poor innocent immigrants looking for a better life.

What, illegal immigrants involved in illegal activities? This cannot be so, its just another example of racist right wing reactionaries lying about people who only want to come to America to help us pay our tax burden.
To: Korah
It’s “Sonoran,” not “Sanoran.”

Its Sonoran, not Sanoran.
OOPS! My fault, because I added the name of the desert to the title. I just looked at the article again and it has the correct spelling, but I spelled it wrong.

I have been very critical of illegal immigration. One of the main reasons is that illegal immigrant men and women are subject to all manner of abuse. I know I wouldn’t want my family treated that way. I don’t want them treated that way either.
Put an end to illegal immigration, and this problem would stop.
The crimes they are submitted to, is not limited to the desert either. Sweat shops and abuse deep inside our nation are common.
These are not the jobs U.S. Citizens won’t do. They are the jobs U.S. Citizens would report when they got home.

How sad, and sickening. Just like their support for Women’s Rights violating pigs from the Middle East, the liberals again are supporting a violent and disgusting group of people — supporting the modern equivalent of slavery, too.

End NAFTA, if you want to significantly reduce illegal immigration.
NAFTA has put small Mexican farms out of business, because those small farms cannot compete with the produce from American factory farms.
So those illegals need to migrate north to feed their families.
Those on both sides of the border who profit from NAFTA, are those who have put their fellow human beings through the torments mentioned in the article.
Just one more outrage brought to us by the “free” traders.
To: Age of Reason
You’re talking to a guy who despises multi-national agreements like NAFTA, as well as the WTO.
I view them to be a surrender of our sovereignty in part, and I don’t agree to surrendering one iota of that.

I’ve actually seen it spelled both ways, but Sonoran is the accepted and common name. Ever been to the Sonoran Desert Museum outside Tucson? Excellent place to visit.

They are showing this video on the wrong side of the border!

These “free” trade agreements they negotiate are, what?, thousands of pages long?
If it were really free trade, they would be one page long.
What it's really about is whose livelihood gets thrown under the bus.
