There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America's military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the "Obama problem." Don't dismiss it as unrealistic.
America isn't the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn't mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:

Yep, I just can’t bring myself to watch Olbermann. I might be able to stomach a transcript of his show to scan but the guy makes my skin curl just looking at him. (It would be
easier for me to have a picture of my ex on desk than looking at this guy.) lol
Colonel..what is your perception as to what the military really thinks of this administration?
How true.

There is not going to be a military coup to remove Obama.
But..... If 0 federalizes the AZ guard to intervene with the enforcement of the new AZ law.
Well, its anybody’s guess where that road goes. Don’t forget... This type of thing happened in the 1950s when Eisenhower ordered the guard to enforce the integration of Central High School on Little Rock, AR.
I don’t think AZ will back down as easy as the Governor of AR did.
I call Bovine Fecal Mattah on this one!
They might be sent in to clean up the mess after the fact, but I don’t see our military initiating a new Civil War! For EITHER side!

Ah... sorry, mate, but I believe it is a Constitutional Republic.
greetings
Preakness Pool?!?
It seems that I'm reading about this kind of stuff, quite a bit, here on Free Republic, in that FReepers consider it a good liklihood of happening, actually ...
ALSO..., when you read the "birther threads" ... you'll hear advocates for taking out Obama militarily ... just like this, too. In fact, I don't doubt that some of those "birthers" show up here saying the same thing and confirming this ... LOL ...
how can people who supposedly believe in the constitution and this country’s institutions ever support the idea of a military coup?
the last thing I ever want to see in this country is rule by some wannabe banana republic military junta.
What do you call ‘reasonable steps’? I see Tea Parties and voter turnout ousting the old guard Dems. And a fed up country. We’ll see in November if we haven’t taken reasonable steps.
He is not eligible to assume the presidency under Art II Section 1. That is the basis for any action. Especially since everyone else is cowards.
I took an oath to protect and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. That does not make this country a third world one. Our oath is unique in the military structure of the world and precludes ever becoming a third world nation.
Yes! And it should would be fun to collect those love letters from Ava Gardner.
Whoa!
TPM is far out there on the left. It has been used for policy shaping and coordination between the various leftwing outlets.
Sounds like the demonization they’ve been running against everything right of center.
Of course, it may mean they’re preparing to “protect” the administration.
Thanks, but I also note that we do have quite a few FReepers who pretty much advocate the same thing, in that the military should take Obama out of office, as they are our last line of defense and that we have to do this in order to “preserve the Constitution” (you know... violate the Constitution in order to preserve it ... :-) ...).
I’m not an advocate of that, I’m just saying that people here are advocating that sort of thing and that it’s necessary with Obama and that they are getting ready for an “Armed Revolution” in which (if they have to) they will actually be fighting some of these same military that we are talking about here — and yes... these Freepers are serious, according to what they say ...
Just sayin’ — that’s all... and I don’t support that idea ... at all ... :-)
Back to ya, mate! *cheeky grin*
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president. — Author Unknown
I have my doubts too...but intervention could occur should he and his theatre of the bizarre order “troops” to begin a round-up of or fire on citizens.
Throughout history, there have been those that say the world is ending and those that say it isn’t...just pick a side and wait, maybe it will before you die, maybe it won’t.

It had over 150 in the first hour, IIRC.
I think most people have this “uneasy feeling that there is going to be a major negative change in lifestyle soon”.
I’ve heard this expressed from various and disparate information sources.
