There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America's military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the "Obama problem." Don't dismiss it as unrealistic.
America isn't the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn't mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:

You need to look at Post #231 again, because that was referencing "me" (namely you see "Star Traveler" there in his post) and he references a post that is specifically talking about "Carly Fiorina" -- the discussion that had been going on.
So, it's (1) the poster who was referenced, namely "Star Traveler" -- and -- (2) it's the subject that was being discussed, namely "Carly Fiorina" ... and thus, that's how it was raised on this thread.
And I did a word search through the entire thread there... and there's not even one poster on that entire thread that even so much as "spells" the word "lunatic" ... LOL ... I think you really need to brush up on your reading a bit ... :-)

You're mixing two different threads on two separate conversations and mixing everything up in your head ... I'm afraid.
It would be easier to follow if you would stick to one thread at a time and just discuss the topic at hand on that one thread. Thats a problem. When a fascist like Obama begins to rule according to political correctness rather than our laws, then not only are the usual conventions on balance of power out the window in favor of the executive arm of government, but the usual restrictions on the dogs of war also are loosened.

I'm afraid that act in and of itself would unravel the country. Obama voters are by and large the same people who participated in the Rodney King riots and you should know how that riot was ended. Lock down curfew at night, with the announcement of welfare checks to keep people standing in line all day.
The Supreme court has ruled that a usurper gains legitimacy if the act of unseating him would cause an undue amount of social unrest. I think that's why they do not want to touch any of the BC cases.
The current unrest in Bangkok is pretty much exactly this issue - Thaksin is the Obama.

The guy specifically campaigned on being able to work with whatever Congress he gets. If he goes through with the executive orders, it will be giving the GOP a huge stick to hit him with over and over and over again in 2012.

For all intents and purposes, a coup has already taken place, both in an ideological sense, as well as practical application. Nothing is beneath Obama. He is a true believer for whom ideology trumps the constitution, and the end justifies the means. I agree that it will take a major mishap or power grab for military intervention, but the child Marxist is fully capable of it.

I don't disagree with you. But it still is interpretable as a matter of political opinion. I don't think the military is likely to act in such circumstances. If Obama starts using the military to gather up citizens and put them in gulags, then they will be confronted with the kind of definite choice that will be unavoidabe. I don't see the military acting until they have no other choicel. And even then, I'm not entirely sure what their choice will be. Probably at least some divisions, I would guess, between those who think they should obey orders no matter what, and those who think the orders are illegitimate or criminal.
