Money is a liquid asset. Where do you sell your money?
You sell it for food, water storage, fuel, supplies and ammunition. You can't eat the money.
To me..... I'll give you a nickel on the dollar. But don't worry, they'll be wet nickels.
This is where I sell my money. :) APMEX
Stocks and bonds are considered liquid assets. That’s what he is referring to.
buy property, buy stockpiled foods, lots and lots of ammo for the entitlement zombies.
Depends on what you're defining as 'money.'
If you're talking about rectangular green pieces of paper/linen debt instrument, maybe you should consider exchanging this alleged 'money' for a commodity like gold, silver, ammunition, food, or other preparation items.
Even if one only exchanges 10% of his 'money' for assets, at least the result is something tangible in the event of a monetary collapse.
It's just good insurance.
In the gold market.
I'm pretty liquid now myself....more cash than assets. And I don't feel all that good about it...
Rock and hard place come to mind.......
Sell it into things that make you self sufficient without social or govt services

I advise buying 5-gallon buckets and filling them with beans.
Oh, and bullets in major calibers.
Oh, and any kind of medicine that you can get your hands on.
You trade it for GOLD and NOW
Gun stores!
To somebody who will buy it for gold.
Or better yet, for fertile land.
Buy GOLD. Buy Silver. Specie, not stocks. Bullion, not numismatic.

Maybe he meant vodka.
Buy silver/gold bullion and pre 1964 silver coins (90% silver). Do NOT store it in a bank's "safe deposit" vault. I could offer some suggestions but that would be telling.
Convert IRA/401K/403B funds into specie (silver/gold) backed plans. If TSHTF, paper (stocks/bonds/dollars) will be worthless. Stock up on long term storage food and ammo for your personal battery, if you don't own guns yet buy a rifle, shotgun and pistol while there is still time. Items like this can always be used as trade goods. Buy extra clothing as if you were preparing for an extended camping trip.
