Investigators: Obama using Connecticut Soc. Sec. Number
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | May 11, 2010 | Jerome R. Corsi

Posted on 05/11/2010 7:01:30 PM PDT by Man50D

Two private investigators working independently are asking why President Obama is using a Social Security number set aside for applicants in Connecticut while there is no record he ever had a mailing address in the state.

In addition, the records indicate the number was issued between 1977 and 1979, yet Obama's earliest employment reportedly was in 1975 at a Baskin & Robbins ice cream shop in Oahu, Hawaii.

WND has copies of affidavits filed separately in a presidential eligibility lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia by Ohio licensed private investigator Susan Daniels and Colorado private investigator John N. Sampson.

The investigators believe Obama needs to explain why he is using a Social Security number reserved for Connecticut applicants that was issued at a date later than he is known to have held employment.

The Social Security website confirms the first three numbers in his ID are reserved for applicants with Connecticut addresses, 040-049.

"Since 1973, Social Security numbers have been issued by our central office," the Social Security website explains. "The first three (3) digits of a person's social security number are determined by the ZIP code of the mailing address shown on the application for a social security number."

The question is being raised amid speculation about the president's history fueled by an extraordinary lack of public documentation. Along with his original birth certificate, Obama also has not released educational records, scholarly articles, passport documents, medical records, papers from his service in the Illinois state Senate, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and adoption papers.

I just did one search and discovered that it is certainly possible to apply for a social security number via a U.S. Embassy.

Here is one result which is specifically in conjunction with reporting the birth of a child:

Consulate General, Edinburgh
Changes to Social Security Number Application Process
20 September
Extract from the September American Newsletter published by U.S. Embassy London.

Effective September 25, 2006, new procedures are in place if you are reporting the birth of your child and want a Social Security number issued to him or her. You must complete a form SS-5-FS, and submit proof of both parents’ identity and proof of the child’s identity to the Embassy’s Federal Benefit Unit. The form SS-5-FS will be provided to you when you register your child, or can be downloaded from www.socialsecurity.gov.

The following must be submitted with the SS-5-FS:
The passport or military ID card or driver’s license of the parent signing the SS-5-FS and
The child’s foreign birth certificate and
The child’s Consular Report of Birth Abroad

And one document from the list below, for the child:
Passport
U.S. military dependent ID card
UK National Health Card
Medical record issued by a hospital, doctor, or clinic
Religious record (e.g. baptismal certificate, cradle roll)

You will be required to submit the completed form and the original documents (no photocopies) when you submit the application at the U.S. Consulate.

If you have any questions, please see www.socialsecurity.gov. If you have a specific inquiry, please contact the Federal Benefits Unit at the U.S. Embassy on IN.GB.FSP.London@ssa.gov. Contact numbers for FBU can also be found on their website at http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/acs/fbu/index.html

I just had another thought. I seem to remember that the numbers of a social security number can also provide a clue as to when the number was issued. Anyone know more about that?

I've asked this question a few times on FR over the past 2 years. What fake or stolen SS number did Obama use scooping ice cream?

Assuming it was a summer job at the beginning of the summer of 1975, being born Aug 4, 1961 (allegedly) Obama would not even have turned 14 yet.

I seem to recall that child labor laws kick in under age 16 and he might have just worked under that table at the B-R franchise.

I don't think I was required to have an SS number until I turned 16 (1966) at which point I began working on the books (having worked off the books at age 15).

Arriving in CA at 18 in 1979 to start at Occidental, that might have triggered a scramble to get him an SS number, which could well have been a problem depending on what is in his original HI vital records.

This seems a pretty complete explanation of what meaning can be derived from a SS#. There are number series reserved for American territories but there is no separate series reserved for persons applying abroad via a U.S. embassy. This implies that the embassy would go with the last U.S. address of the applicant or the applicant’s parent(s) before they left the country.

Not where you were born.... where you applied. I was born in Harrisburg, Pa, but my parents applied for my number in California. Mine starts with 563...which falls in line with Calif numbers. My daughters were both born in Texas and I applied for them in Texas and they have numbers designated for Texas.

IF this was his SS#, he'd be 119 yrs old. He has used stolen SS#s.

YouTube Video on this SS Issue...in fact, he has used 39 different SS#'s

Well I needed a social security number when I first worked at 14 in the mid seventies.

I, my husband, and my son’s first 3 #’s in SS# all fit in with the state list you posted.

My husband and I were born in the 60’s, and my son in the late 80’s.
All three of us lived in and requested the number in different states.

One of them being Hawaii.

So in my family’s case, this list is correct.

Yes, we’re already aware of these things, but thanks. Having three children born abroad, we can tell you that it is not even necessary to APPLY for a SSAN# ! Once the child has been issued a Consular Report of Birth and a U.S. Passport (upon which applications we simply filled in 000-00-0000 for a SSAN#), the information all automatically goes to the SS Administration, and in just a matter of weeks a SSAN and a card is issued and in the mail.

Boy, SS fraud would be a delicious way of catching him in a birth-origin lie, but, uh, ,,,

Social security numbers are issued at birth. The article says that system of issuing SS numbers was instituted in the 1970s. I’m younger than Obama (by a good deal), but my social security number doesn’t conform to the article’s formula at all.

Here is some info. The area number portion of the SSN does not have to represent the state where the applicant lived. It simply is a code for the SSN branch that issued the card.

Indiana 303-317 - yep same here. I’ve been a resident of Indiana for most of my life, my card was issued in 1974 and it begins with 303.

This fits folks, if his card is ID’d with a CT number system, he’s using a fraudulent number. That’s enough to prosecute him right there, or should be in a sane world that still operates under the rule of law.
