n the wake of AP’s report that Solicitor General Elena Kagan is President Obama’s choice to fill the Supreme Court vacancy, Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) reiterates its call for Kagan to answer the question: ‘Are (or were) you a practicing homosexual?’
According to some reports it is an open secret that Kagan is a practicing lesbian — to which AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera responds:
If Kagan is practicing immoral sexual behavior, it reflects on her character as a judicial nominee and her personal bias as potentially one of the most important public officials in America. The popular mantra — even among conservatives — is that Kagan’s sexuality is ‘irrelevant.’ But a Justice Kagan would help decide some critically important constitutional issues dealing with: homosexual ‘marriage’ as a supposed civil right; religious liberty and freedom of conscience; and the First Amendment as applied to citizens’ right to oppose homosexuality. So it certainly matters if she, as a lifetime judge, could emerge as a crusading (openly) ‘gay’ advocate on the court.
Kagan has a strong pro-homosexual record, including, as Harvard dean, fighting to keep military recruiters off the campus because the military bars homosexuals. Americans certainly have a right to know if her activism is driven by deeply personal motivations that could undermine her fairness as a judge.
Besides, in an era of ubiquitous pro-gay messages and pop culture celebration of homosexuality, it’s ridiculous that Americans should be left guessing as to whether a Supreme Court nominee has a special, personal interest in homosexuality.
Given the important homosexual-related issues coming before the Supreme Court , Kagan should say so if she has a personal interest in lesbianism. Similarly, any legislator — especially one representing a conservative district — should come clean on the homosexuality question particularly if it is an ‘open secret’ like Mark Foley’s homosexuality (years before the page scandal) or becomes the subject of wide speculation.
We appeal to Kagan and all potential “hiding-in-the-closet” public officials to answer the question: ‘Are (or were) you a practicing homosexual or do you consider yourself homosexual (gay)?’ Homosexuals’ privacy interests simply do not outweigh the public’s right to know about potential conflicts-of-interest in the lives of their judges and lawmakers.
Besides, Harvard sucks. Obama and Granholm already proved that.

Since she is a candidate to be a judge her chosen sexual tendencies are a central issue. If she is a lesbian than the knowledge of her diseased mental state is critical.
We cannot afford to appoint someone as a justice who does not even undertsand human sexual relations. The male-female dichotomy is the driving force behind all of human achievement. If she cannot understand that (and a gay or lesbian most definitely does not understand it otherwise they'd not be gay or lesbian) then she has no reason to be put in a position to judge anyone or anything.
Not only do I condone discrimination against gays, lesbian,s and other sexual perverts, but I believe doing so is essential to the survival of these united States. Letting the inmates run the asylum is not a recipe for success.
“Does the public really want to know?”
If Kagan chooses to live in a fantasy world where she calls another obese woman ‘Frank’ and considers that woman to play the role of her ‘husband’ - hell yes the public wants to know about it. Because we sure as heck don’t want someone that deranges making some of the most critical legal decisions in history.

As Dean of Harvard Law School she barred US military recruiters from the Harvard Law campus while Americans were dying at war!!!
That point needs to be hammered home relentlessly to every living American.
I believe that this is one case where detail and nuance unnecessarily complicate things with much of the public and the political/media class — pound home the point that Kagan banned military recruiters, period.
THAT is the “Achilles heel” of this nominee and of this administration.
Many people who won’t delve into the details WILL care about that and WILL be offended and appalled. People simply need to know that Obozo & co. are hard-core politically correct leftists who put their pet causes completely above US security and the men and women of the US military services.
Whether or not this specific nomination can be stopped in the Senate (unlikely) there needs to be a huge publicity campaign focused upon this single point.
We may lose this battle (over Kagan’s nomination) due to RINO Senators but *use* it to educate America about what the Obamanation really stands for.
I’d love to see Kagan’s nomination stopped, of course, but I think we need to look at it in a “tactical” way, to educate Americans and build opposition to Obozo and his clique of anti-American leftists.

First, she prohibited the Harvard Law School career services office from cooperating with the US military recruiters in any way. Then a year later she flip-flopped and reversed the ban because Harvard University was in danger of losing hundreds of millions of dollars in federal funding.
sooo, her “principled” stance is to ban the US military from recruiting at university campuses — then her flip-flop stance to to do a 180 because Harvard’s about to lose hundreds of millions of dollars in federal funding.
We focus on this and the Obamanation loses ground with the patriotic public, period.

Not condoning or accepting something is not the same as “burning at the stake”. I’m sure you realize that. I don’t think we should be knowingly putting people in high positions who are sexual deviants.
