What country are we in? 200 students left school and held a march today following the reports yesterday that 4 students dare wear American flag shirts on Cinco de Mayo.

About 200 Hispanic teens are marching in Morgan Hill yelling “We want respect!” and “Si se puede!” in reaction to a controversy ignited when the Live Oak High School principal effectively sent four students home for wearing T-shirts with American flags on them during Cinco de Mayo.
Mexican-American students felt the students were being disrespectful on the only day they celebrate their heritage while students sporting red, white and blue said it violated their First Amendment rights.
Six police cars and a Morgan Hill motorcycle officer have been cruising alongside the large group as it marches.
The group – mostly high school students – walked out of school this morning after the story of four students who were sent home because they wore American flag T-shirts went viral on TV and online. Many wear red, white and green and two large Mexico flags can be seen at the front of the line.
The students say they want people to know they’re proud of their heritage and they believe wearing red, white and blue on Cinco de Mayo is disrespectful.

Flaunting and protesting against the laws of your host country is probably not the best way to earn it.
Response: It would be nice if as they marched they marched into INS buses which immediately took them to the Mexican border and "marched" them accross.
Truth-In-Labeling would call them the New Conquistadores.

Wow, that school allowed the US flag to be taken down, then put under the Mexican flag, upside down? You have got to be kidding me?? Is this getting any attention by the media, even Fox News?
If/when we start deporting these kid’s parents, I sure hope someone makes a documentary following the kids as they assimilate into Mexican culture.

It's actually designated to celebrate a Mexican military victory over the French (imagine that...). Now they use it to celebrate advancing victories against the U.S.
The Cubans in Miami hate communists, Castro supporters, and Che-Lovers, as well as the Mexican / "La Raza" types. Cuban Americans, while having strong sentiments to Cuba, are very PRO-AMERICAN PRO-USE type. You won't find a more PRO-USA ethnic group in this country. Cuban Americans don't like to be associated with the "Hispanic" label and lumped into the rest of the "Hispanic" ethnic label. They consider themselves "Americans" first before "Hispanic".
Each year, Mexico owns a little bit more of our land.
