What country are we in? 200 students left school and held a march today following the reports yesterday that 4 students dare wear American flag shirts on Cinco de Mayo.

MorganHill Times reported:
About 200 Hispanic teens are marching in Morgan Hill yelling We want respect! and Si se puede! in reaction to a controversy ignited when the Live Oak High School principal effectively sent four students home for wearing T-shirts with American flags on them during Cinco de Mayo.
Mexican-American students felt the students were being disrespectful on the only day they celebrate their heritage while students sporting red, white and blue said it violated their First Amendment rights.
Six police cars and a Morgan Hill motorcycle officer have been cruising alongside the large group as it marches.
The group mostly high school students walked out of school this morning after the story of four students who were sent home because they wore American flag T-shirts went viral on TV and online. Many wear red, white and green and two large Mexico flags can be seen at the front of the line.
The students say they want people to know theyre proud of their heritage and they believe wearing red, white and blue on Cinco de Mayo is disrespectful.
Oh, so on the Fourth of July, they’re going to carefully avoid wearing green and red together, right? Snot-nosed brats, that’s a scene for a fire hose.
It’s not like they learn anything there anyway...but I get your point.
Has to be in Kalifornia!!!
No, give them diplomas and deport them.

Why on earth would you give them diplomas ???
Where the hell is ICE?
Thanks Corona, keep the lime.
A High School diploma or GED isn’t required for welfare so what do these thugs care?
These people who respect nothing are demanding respect?
How’s that for ironic?
When you start respecting the laws of this country, including the First Amendment, I will reconsider.
Yes try that in Mexico as an immigrant and you will be deported pronto...I see we are headed for a cultural war between Americans and those who live here but don’t ASSimilate into American culture language and customs. All those PC freaks have caused this. Time to throw all illegals out and let them see how well they will be treated in their home counties. It is apparent to most it is now US or them.
ANYONE who puts the colors of ANY other country before America’s doesn’t belong here and should be kicked out as soon as possible and by any means possible.
Someone needs to inform these kids that this is America and they can either take it or leave it...literally.
The whole thing is totally absurd...I'm of French descent...maybe I should start asking for more respect on Bastille Day??
I think the term “give them” happens daily in many public schools Nana - lots of kids don’t earn them, but are just given them. Most of these kids will drop out before senior year anyway.
And we want to give these kids (or their parents) a path to citizenship because ....?
How many of these clowns are anchor children of Mexican illegals?
There is something wrong with this sentence.
Isn't Mexican Independence Day on Sept. 16? Anyway, I celebrate my heritage every day of the year. What do they mean "the only day the celebrate their heritage?" Losers!
How is that school funded?
Respect is earned ... not demanded.
"WE will tell you when you can wear your flag colors, gringos! You WILL respect us. And by the way, you evil, racist, Nazi, gringo bigots, we DEMAND to be allowed to live amongst you. We demand NOT to be deported to our home country...where everybody is so much better than you are!"
