Second, Please forgive me for disrupting this thread with so many pings. I felt this appearance tonight by LTC Lakin is extremely important for all to see and hear.

Third, Please forgive me for pinging you to this thread if you have no interest in anything to do with the issue concerning Obama's constitutional qualifications or as known by all, the “birther” issue.

If you are one who thinks folks wanting answers concerning our Commander In Chief are “crazies, racist, etc,etc,” I am sorry to have bothered you. But perhaps you care enough about the members of our military to listen in tonight to LTC Lakin to hear from him directly as to why he wants answers to some VERY SIMPLE and important questions.

If you do listen in, you will learn that LTC Lakin did everything he could in going through the proper chains of command to get the answer to a very simple question. He was ignored, denied any answers, and also denied any help from higher command as to how he should proceed to get his question answered. With no help in sight, LTC Lakin did what he felt he had the responsibility to do in upholding the oath he took upon entering the military. He now faces Court Marshall for his actions.

I say God Bless LTC Lakin for doing what is right as he must know the orders he follows and passes on to others are handed down from a Commander In Chief whom is constitutionally qualified to be the Commander In Chief. AND no one yet knows the answer to that question!

What makes you think he is a CO?

He's been deployed to a war zone before, and is "packed and ready" to go again once he's confident he isn't following the orders of an illegal POTUS, thus upholding his oath to the Constitution.

Correct! He didn't simply wake up one day and thought he would take this course of action first. He tried, through both his chain of command, and through his political representatives to get answers to his questions...to no avail. Such a simple, and critical, thing to want verified.

There's a reason this issue has not gone away like so many had hoped it would, but has instead persisted to the point where...now almost 2 years later it will be yet again discussed on CNN (of all places).
