I support Carly. On the issues most important to me, she is pro-life and she is in favor of limited government, tax relief and responsible spending policies. She is also the candidate most likely to defeat Boxer.

While there is no question that Campbell is intelligent, he is too liberal and is a lifetime politician/professor. He would not be able to hold the conservative base here in California, and he would not be able to cut into Boxer's base, which consists largely of unions, minorities, doctrinaire liberals, and women.

With regard to Chuck Devore, he would hold the base but would be unable to attract many customary Boxer voters. He would also not be as attractive as Carly to independent voters, who form a steadily increasing percentage of the electorate here. Also, his attempts to discredit Carly as a RINO are misleading and the last refuge of a desparate man.

It is either going to be Carley or Campbell that wins the primary. I think DeVore has to high a hill to climb to win the primary. So it would appear the choice we have to make in California is between the two Cs.

What’s funny, is that Carly wasn’t able to run a company, either.

How does McCain's bathwater taste, Sarah?

EPIC FAIL

Remind me of the last time a current or former House member went into the presidency without a stop at the Senate or governor’s office... Hint: Tall, beard, freed the slaves...

If it’s about getting Democrat Barbara Bowwow out of the Senate, even if it means replacing her with a RINO placeholder (that would be my best possible assessment of Fiorina), I would consider it somewhat understandable.

Devore doesn’t have a chance in the general election even if he is polling against Boxer about the same as Fiorna right now. Once Boxer gets done dicing him up as an “anti-choice right wing extremist” he’ll be a smoking cinder just like all of Boxer’s past opponents. Boxer won’t have quite as easy of a time putting Fiorna in that box. She’s got a ton of money to spend to go after Boxer and to parry Boxer’s demagoguery against her. Fiorna seems media savvy and to understand in California you’ve got to utilize the free media. Plus Fiorna has a shot at taking over some of Boxer’s female support. She ultimately I believe will wear better with voters in the long run than either Campbell or Devore. I’m with Palin on this one.

If Sarah comes out to endorse someone like this, it’s because she is definitely ‘positioning herself’ to run for President. Sarah is trying to be in a position to seek endorsements as well if she runs. If Sarah was NOT RUNNING, she would endorse strictly and purely on ‘ideologically pure’ lines.

I stand corrected—Fiorina’s come out fairly strongly on amnesty, saying she doesn’t support a “path to citizenship”. So all around I think this is a reasonable endorsement, given the state and the candidates. What I also find notable is that Fiorina must have wanted Palin’s endorsement.

On which issues is Carly a RINO?

Actually, this is addressed to all the Devore supporters on this thread who have bought in to Devore's false claim that he is the only real conservative in this race. The only effect that this slander will have is to divide the conservative base and hand the primary to Campbell, who is a RINO.

So come on all you Devore devotees, give me some issues on which Carly's position is that of a RINO.

Tom Campbell is a strong fiscally conservative candidate, but supports same-sex marriage and abortion rights. Tough choice between the two but either is far, far better than the far left Boxer.

We, conservatives, should be working now to DESTROY Mitt, Pawlenty or any other RINO candidates coming down the pike.

And after doing that, then what? Do you realize that between you and everybody else on this site, there is not one single person in the country worthy of our support?

I live in CA. I am a strong supporter of Chuck DeVore. I will vote for him on June 8th. Unfortunately, his campaign is going no where and he lags way behind in the polls. He has run no TV ads that I am aware of. The race is now unfortunately between Campbell and Fiorina.
