Our dog is a good mouser. Fast. Bo must be a real flake to let Rats run around the WH. He is probably howling in a kenne somewhere when he isn’t needed as a prop.
We voters are really stupid to allow Rats in the WH.

They are great for the yard - they eat lots and lots of bugs.
I actually try to protect them from my dogs, although, I’m not very seccussful.
That makes my skin crawl since it was only yesterday I was in a home improvement store in the garden center and a RAT about 40 feet long from head to tail ran right across in front of me. Of course being a girl, I screamed but I didn’t jump upon the table.:0.......(btw, it might not have been 40 feet long..........maybe more like 30 feet).....:)

Normally, I use the “Just one Bite” bait.
But I had set a piece out about 1/2 cubic inch and the suckers stole the whole thing!
So I set the trap to see if I was dealing with Ratzilla or something, and it looked like a healthy, average size adult female gray mouse, nuthin spectacular.
When I use traps, I use the Woodstream quick set traps. Very easy to set and use, you never even have to touch the mouse.

OH MY! I’m pretty sure that is a rare, protected rat and needs to be protected, I think everyone should move out of the Whitehouse and let them have their habitat back unfettered by mankind.

During ANY news conference or briefing from the white house these days, I ALWAYS avert my eyes. Must always be mindful that these vermin may take other forms.

And, I know their camera may have been trained on the steps for some unknown reason but come on, is a rodent running across the steps truly newsworthy when we have a failed terrorist attack in NYC, an environmental disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, soldiers risking their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan and the state of Arizonia openly challenging the federal government?
