Hi everyone! What a great thread! (pinging a few folks who weren’t at thread to maybe check it out!) Was not able to muster up the $$ to get to DC, and really wanted to! I recall the fun I had with the crew a few years ago on the streets & then in lounge for food & watching the shin dig on TV. That was the night with GWB & his “look alike” alter ego chat. LOVED IT!
Turns out I got a last minute invite to Cav’s playoff game.. which was fun(esp when you win)

was there a list anywhere of attendees? menu? (or was it off menu?) Leno looks like he has gained weight & longer hair??? I see there are links for the various videos of speeches. Not sure I want to lose part of my life listening to BO. or Leno. Will take your comments to heart on the gist of the message and audience response.

Do you think that Obama shouldn’t have attended this event? It is scheduled a year in advance. Is it that it would have been more seemly if he didn’t appear to be having a good time while the oil is threatening the gulf coast? Or is it that there is something specifically he could have accomplished if he hadn’t gone?

I didn’t watch it live but I did watch is on You Tube later. Disturbing, disgusting, typical. What a bitter, evil little man he is. Barely anyone laughed, he wasn’t one bit funny, he was just....well.. just himself. He has to be hands down THE most arrogant, unlikable person I have ever seen. He can’t stand criticism of any kind without wanting to get revenge. I thought the audience seemed very uncomfortable and tense.
Leno wasn’t funny either and they didn’t laugh much at him either. All in all, it was just bizarre.
At least he admitted he was born in Kenya and loses his birth certificate. The audience didn’t seem to think it was very funny.
