Cities and counties that have sanctuary policies include:

Anchorage, AK Fairbanks, AK Fresno, CA Los Angeles, CA National City, CA4 San Diego, CA San Francisco, CA Sonoma County, CA Evanston, IL Chicago, IL3 Cicero, IL Cambridge, MA Orleans, MA Portland, ME Baltimore, MD Takoma Park, MD Ann Arbor, MI Detroit, MI Minneapolis, MN Newark, NJ1 Trenton, NJ1 Durham, NC Albuquerque, NM Aztec, NM Rio Arriba, County, NM Sante Fe, NM New York, NY Ashland, OR Gaston, OR Marion County, OR Austin, TX Houston, TX Katy, TX Virginia Beach, VA Seattle, WA Madison, WI

Currently there are two statewide policies regarding sanctuary for illegal aliens: In May 2003, Alaska's state legislature passed a joint resolution prohibiting state agencies from using resources or institutions for the purpose of enforcing federal immigration laws.

In 1987, Oregon passed a law that prohibits state and local law enforcement agencies from using agency moneys, equipment or personnel for the purpose of detecting or apprehending foreign citizens based on violation of federal immigration law. Oregon law, however, does permit their law enforcement officers to exchange information with federal authorities to verify the immigration status of an individual arrested for criminal offenses.

I live in San Diego and the term sanctuary city is overplayed

Of our 5 congressmen here, 3 are Conservative Republicans
and one is the person responsible for the border fence that was stopped after 15 miles by congress some yrs back.

You are showing your ignorance in flyover.

There are many here who are deported and since we have to go by the laws on the books, we ship out what we can by
the law.

Just because LA and Frisco cater to the Mexicans doesn’t mean San Diego does.

I just got in the door being part of a counter group against tens of thousands of Mexicans with their Marxist flags and signs marching to their raly.

Under the law including the new law in AZ, you can’t go up to them and say, let me see your ID.

Don’t play the big shot when you don’t know what you are taling about.

Go Razorbacks.

Will not travel to sanctuary cities, buy products made there, or root for teams that play there.

Sipping my delicious Arizona iced lemon tea (made in NY).

I asked my fishmonger to carry any seafood that is farmed in Arizona.

Will consume ONLY PF Chang’s China Bistro chinese food (founded and Hdq in Arizona).

No more gift baskets to friends from Harry & David (between Medford and Ashland, Oregon -BOTH sanctuary cities—hires illegals).

Yeah (blush).

BTW, when buying Arizona iced tea (made in NY), I noticed the large gallon containers were almost gone.

I bought the smaller bottles——and they were going fast, as well.

Under the new AZ law, you can’t go up to them and say, let me see your ID.

The dumbest statement was made by Ohaha....that a brown man will be stopped while buying his kid ice cream.

NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. The Arizona law mobilizes when someone is engaged in suspicious activity....such as: (1) crawling out of an electronics store at midnight with his hands full of laptops, (2) dealing drugs to schoolchildren, (3) in the act of raping a toddler, (4) driving drunk without a license, (5) carrying a machete, etc. At that point the Arizona law is enforced...... perps are asked for their papers.

Katy, TX. Now that’s a surprise. Another option gone if I move back to Texas. As for Houston, it’s gotta be the inner loopers. Is Corpus Christi any better? Is Pasedena (where the air is greena) still a place with some decent values? People here in Minnestoopid mock Pasedena and the religious conservatives, but the in-your-face meddlesome nannystaters make the religious conservatives seem like laissez-faire libertarians in comparison!

Arizona also has many large food supplement/natural food suppliers. When McCain introduced his bill to ban/fda control them, they really got all over him.

Bump!

Liberals are right.

The AZ situation is like Nazi Germany.

Mexico is Germany and Arizona is Poland

So did you take to the streets in support of Arizona today?

SoCal and I (along with about 100-150 others) went out and stood up against the parade of about 2,000 or so illegals today....in San Diego!

I won't boycott my city but I will sure get off my fanny (and computer) and go face to face with the illegals!

The Denver Public School System said they are going to cancel any trips that are scheduled in Arizona as far as conventions and seminars for their teachers and administrators. I would like to start a boycott of Coors products. Two can play this game.

Caluvdubya and I were just feet from thousands marching by
and we yelled back at them with their smug faces.
Their Mexican, Che, and other Marxist flags and signs.

In case you arent aware, Takoma Park MD is also a “nuclear-free zone,” so that gives you two reasons to stay away.

I could give you more, but won’t bore you with descriptions of this lefty lala land.
