Violent Pro Illegal Immgration Protest in Arizona
Flopping Aces ^ | 04-25-10 | Mike's America

Where is Bill Clinton?

This ain't no Tea Party!

Really, where is Bill Clinton? Wasn't he lecturing us just a week ago on protests could lead to violence? Where are all the media talking heads who echoed Clinton's absurd attempt to link the Tea Partiers to violence? Yet, here's a riot started by protesters against the new law in Arizona to toughen up enforcement on illegal immigration in Phoenix on April 23. Bottles were hurled at police and threats of violence that make even the rowdiest Tea Party look like a church picnic.

You'll see the bottles thrown here, striking police officers who try to usher a lone anti-illegal immigration protester from the scene for his own safety:

Deport the criminals and let them clean up their own foul smelling filthy country. If they are cowards in their own country which they have shown to be by coming over here and doing nothing there; you can bet they will be cowards here.

“La Raza should be declared a seditious terrorist organization and thrown out of the USA. we need to have ALL illegals deported or imprisoned, the border sealed, and an armed response to ALL who attempt to recross our border illegally.”

That makes too much sense, so it will never happen.

Illegal and “law abiding” are conflicting term. It’s one or the other and there are no shades of gray.

(Carl Rove) give speeches in front of this racist, pro-illegal alien organization.....

Rove also banned Tom Tancredo from the White House for the latter's strong anti-illegal alien stance. The Bush admin's push for amnesty combined with their fiscal liberalism paved the way for the Obama regime. Independent voters (justifiably) asked "what the heck is the difference between the two major parties again?" The result: a Kenyan Kommie President.

Hopefully the GOP learned its lesson, but I have my doubts. They always act tough when they're out of power. Then when they get back in they revert back to being yellowbellies.

Doesn’t anyone remember the Clinton years....when bad news was coming they’d get ahead of it with their spin?

This is what’s happened here. They knew the illegal aliens and their supporters have NO problem promoting and engaging in violence. They simply targeted the tea parties to have someone to blame when it happens.

This may be the ONLY time John McCain told the truth.

Reminds me of one of McCain’s excuses for Amnesty
( err..’legalization’, according to him)

John McCain: no amnesty for illegal aliens could lead to France-style riots

...The man wasn’t satisfied with McCain’s answer. He asked McCain why the U.S. couldn’t execute large-scale deportations, as he had heard they did in France and other countries. The question seemed to pique McCain.

“In case you hadn’t noticed, the thousands of people who have been relegated to ghettos have risen up and burned cars in France,” McCain said. “They’ve got huge problems in France. They have tremendous problems. The police can’t even go into certain areas in the suburbs of Paris. I don’t want that in the suburbs of America.”

Activists Chain Themselves to Arizona Capitol to Protest Russell Pearce’s SB 1070

[snip]Nine activists protesting state Senator Russell Pearce’s anti-immigrant bill SB 1070 chained and locked themselves to the doors of the Arizona Capitol today, forcing the Capitol Police to use bolt cutters to unchain the nine and arrest them for disorderly conduct.

One activist separate from the group handed out a statement from the nine, calling for “massive and ongoing civil disobedience to be organized all over Arizona and the rest of the nation.”

Capitol Police Commander Andrew Staubitz told reporters that the nine would be transported to Maricopa County’s Fourth Avenue Jail to be booked.

This list of their names was acquired from one of the lawyer’s representing them, Antonio Bustamante: Faviola Augustin, Leilani Clark, Daisy Cruz, Gregorio Montes de Oca, Justine Garcia, Ernesto Lopez, Rubin Lucio Palomares, Jr., David Anthony Portugal, Jr., and Armando Rios.

Present for the rally outside was organizer/activist Alejandro Chavez, grandson of civil rights leader Cesar Chavez, who said the protest was very much in the spirit of his late grandfather.

Hear, hear!

You are correct...There isn't much difference between Bush and Obama when it comes to Comprehenive Immigration Reform.

"Didn’t I hear that a lot of high school kids were involved in protests?"

From the newscast I saw it was clear most of the crowd were High Schoolers with a couple of handlers directing them. One thing this Illegal Alien crowd always do, is hide behind their kids. BTW, when this started it WAS during school hours.

Sounds more like one of the common “sweet sixteen” (or is it “sweet twelve?” I can’t remember which age the Mexicans celebrate as the age their girls become “women”) parties

Fifteen is the Mexican coming-of-age. It is known as the "quinceanera". I have this story about one:

A year ago I had the chance to ride in one of those obnoxiously stupid party-limos. (A white Hummer. A tackier vehicle I have never seen.)

I sat in the front and talked to the driver. He had just completed a "quinceanera" job. He said the girl was very nice and a bit shy. And, not realizing that he has a small video camera to let him communicate with the back she and her cousin were enjoying the event. She was definately graduated to "woman" and perhaps even "mother to be" by the end of the celebration.

I'm sure this was just one experience of one limo driver and in no way reflects on what typically goes on in the back of 27 foot long stretch limos, or at "quinceanera" celebrations. Really.

I cannot even feature a rally with mostly Republicans and Independents getting violent. The far left are nuts and would expect anything out of them especially when it has to do with immigration. Illegals should be arrested and shipped back across the border at El Paso where it is tough to find their way across because they have a border fence that is keeping out crime from Juarez.

Run? Cower?

Let's roll. No exclamation point ... just ... roll.

silence is a good thing

I don’t bend to intimidation tactics. I was very sympathetic to their cause before this day. I’ve been to Mexico, and have seen the crushing poverty. I always believed that they should be allowed to enter the country legally. The key word being LEGALLY! But if this is the path they have chosen to take - F* them ALL.

Have you ever heard these?? Take a deep breath first. These aren’t ignorant thugs on the street, these are their ‘leaders’.

The Takeover of America
CD Produced by the California Coalition for Immigration Reform

http://www.ccir.net/AUDIO/TakeoverOfAmericaCD/Menu.html

[snips]

1) Armando Navarro, Prof. Ethnic Studies, UC Riverside at Latino Summit Response to Prop 187, UC Riverside, 1/1995
“These are the critical years for us as a Latino community. We’re in a state of transition. And that transformation is called ‘the browning of America’. Latinos are now becoming the majority. Because I know that time and history is on the side of the Chicano/Latino community. It is changing in the future and in the present the balance of power of this nation. It’s a game - it’s a game of power - who controls it. You (to MEChA students) are like the generals that command armies. We’re in a state of war. This Proposition 187 is a declaration of war against the Latino/Chicano community of this country. They know the demographics. They know that history and time is on our side. As one community, as one people, as one nation within a nation as the community that we are, the Chicano/Latino community of this nation. What this means is a transfer of power. It means control.”

2) Art Torres, former CA state senator, currently Chair of California Democrat Party at UC Riverside 1/1995
“Que viva la causa! It is an honor to be with the new leadership of the Americas, here meeting at UC Riverside. So with 187 on the ballot, what is it going to take for our people to vote - to see us walking into the gas ovens? It is electoral power that is going to make the determination of where we go as a community. And power is not given to you — you have to take it. Remember: 187 is the last gasp of white America in California. Understand that. And people say to me on the Senate floor when I was in the Senate, ‘Why do you fight so hard for affirmative action programs?’ And I tell my white colleagues, ‘because you’re going to need them.’”

3) Jose Angel Gutierrez, Prof. Univ. Texas at Arlington, founder La Raza Unida Party at UC Riverside 1/1995
“The border remains a military zone. We remain a hunted people. Now you think you have a destiny to fulfill in the land that historically has been ours for forty thousand years. And we’re a new Mestizo nation. And they want us to discuss civil rights. Civil rights. What law made by white men to oppress all of us of color, female and male. This is our homeland. We cannot - we will not- and we must not be made illegal in our own homeland. We are not immigrants that came from another country to another country. We are migrants, free to travel the length and breadth of the Americas because we belong here. We are millions. We just have to survive. We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. It’s a matter of time. The explosion is in our population.”

5) Mario Obledo, founding member/former nat’l director of Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), former CA Sect’y Health/Welfare on Tom Leykis radio talk show
“We’re going to take over all the political institutions in California. In five years the Hispanics are going to be the majority population of this state.” Caller: “You also made the statement that California is going to become a Hispanic state and if anyone doesn’t like it they should leave - did you say that?” Obledo: “I did. They ought to go back to Europe.”

14) Augustin Cebada, Information Minister of Brown Berets, militant para-military soldiers of Aztlan shouting at U.S. citizens at an Independence Day rally in Los Angeles, 7/4/96
“Augustin Cebada, Brown Berets, we’re here today to show L.A., show the minority people here, the Anglo-Saxons, that we are here, the majority, we’re here to stay. We do the work in this city, we take care of the spoiled brat children, we clean their offices, we pick the food, we do the manufacturing in the factories of L.A., we are the majority here and we are not going to be pushed around. We’re here in Westwood, this is the fourth time we’ve been here in the last two months, to show white Anglo-Saxon Protestant L.A., the few of you who remain, that we are the majority, and we claim this land as ours, sit’s always been ours, and we’re still here, and none of the talk about deporting. If anyone’s going to be deported it’s going to be you! Go back to Simi Valley, you skunks! Go back to Woodland Hills! Go back to Boston! To back to the Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You’re old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you, leave like beaten rats. You old white people, it is your duty to die. Even their own ethicists say that they should die, that they have a duty to die. They’re taking up too much space, too much air. We are the majority in L.A. There’s over seven million Mexicans in L.A. County alone. We are the majority. And you’re going to see every day more and more of it, as we manifest as our young people grow up, graduate from high school, go on to college and start taking over this society. The vast majority of our people are under the age of 15 years old. Right now we’re already controlling those elections, whether it’s by violence or nonviolence. Through love of having children we’re going to take over.” Other demonstrators: “Raza fuerza (brown race power), this is Aztlan, this is Mexico. They’re the pilgrims on our land. Go back to the Nina, the Pinta, the Santa Maria.”
