I am so torn...My son just recently joined the Army, he is so proud, we are so proud of him...He has changed so much since he raised his right hand, he leaves on Sunday for Ft. Benning.........Then I read this Bull$hit and I am furious and more worried because of the leadership he is willing to put it on the line for.
Seems like they have no grasp of how people perceived the politically-correct molly-coddling of Nidal Hasan because he was Muslim. They haven’t learned a thing from it.

Franklin Graham saying he wishes that Muslims knew that Jesus died for their sins is in no way equivalent to what the Islamists want to do to people with different beliefs. They don’t want to CONVINCE them; they want to KILL them.

That man is as spineless as his boss.....doesn’t anyone remember the muslims who have gone to the Pentagon to speak OR the ones who work there - against U.S. INTERESTS - because they need their expertise as translators? Can’t recall specifics offhand but it’s certainly been a topic of conversation on the internet. I believe CAIR has an open invitation to appear at the DOD - being sarcastic sure - but they are welcomed with open arms at most government agencies.

The way I heard it, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts neglected to bring a Bible to the second swearing in.
I did not hear the he actively declined to be sworn in with the Bible, although that is a possibility. What I read was that during the (not terribly public) instance of him being sworn in, a Bible **was not used**, for whatever reason.
The natural question MIGHT be, “Well was it a Koran..?” and I do not know, although I verrrry richly doubt it.
Some here have suggested that the Bible was simply forgotten, but I do believe that the swearing in took place at the White House, and....I’m no expert, but I think it’s reasonable that there would be at least a single copy of the Bible on hand somewhere, right...?

At one juncture he did refuse to wear an American flag pin —something that is curious, but I would not classify as extreme treachery...
