PRWeb.com is reporting that voice over actor D.C. Douglas has been canned from GEICO for calling FreedomWorks and saying some very not nice things:
Los Angeles actor, D.C. Douglas, says he was dropped from the upcoming GEICO Shocking News campaign after a group of Tea Party members harassed him and the insurance giant over a private voicemail the actor left for FreedomWorks. Matt Kibbe, President and CEO of FreedomWorks, posted Mr. Douglas cell phone number in a blog post on biggovernment.com, instructing readers to Feel free to contact (him) call his employer too. Let them know that you are now in the market for car insurance. The next day, GEICO held auditions to replace Mr. Douglas voice on the campaign .
I called as a private citizen to make a complaint, explains Mr. Douglas. Racism and homophobia are my Achilles heal, but unfortunately my message included inappropriate words and I am sorry for that. However, telling their members to harass my employer to get me fired is an egregiously disproportionate response to my actions.
So this D.C. Douglas guy is upset that the TEA Party is racist and homophobic, yet he feels it OK to call FreedomWorks and ask how many people that work there are mentally retarded? Hes doing exactly what the Tea Party is supposedly doing, calling names. I went over to this fools website and I found this lovely graphic:

Aaahhh. Flo is a horror show! I would jump out of a speeding car to get away from her.
“However, telling their members to harass my employer to get me fired is an egregiously disproportionate response to my actions.”
Heat/Kitchen.
She reminds me of my first.........well, never mind................
Har!! Funniest comment today.
This guy should have taken Bill Clinton’s advice. “Be aware that words have consequences.”
Amen! This is a basic concept learned in childhood. I’m constantly telling my teenage sons this. At some point, we finally get it. This guy apparently didn’t. That being said, the best way I’ve noticed liberals fight is to talk over and belittle those that disagree with them instead of quietly agreeing to disagree and move on like most adults.
Thanks.
Sometimes good things do happen!
This jerk got what he deserved, what he asked for.

I find all of this “Flo from Progressive, hit it or not?” talk on this thread highly disturbing.
If any of you bring up Erin Esurance I am going over to Hot Air for the rest of the day...
Now if we can just do that with Juan McLame.
Neither. He's a minor figure. In one series of ads, he's the guy who says, "Susie Schmockmeyer is an actual GEICO customer, not a celebrity. So we hired a celebrity..."
Thanks for that info, Nick Danger. Also, bmwcyle posted a photo of D. C. Douglas in #26... thanks, bmycyle.
No... see posts 55 and 26.
Thanks for the ping!
Best example of "homophobia" is the use of the word "gay" by homosexuals to describe themselves.
Self-loathing and self-hatred prevents them from calling themselves homosexual, so they use the word "gay" to make their perversion not only acceptable to the public but more importantly as acceptable to themselves.
Tell that to a lib and they’ll have a deer in headlights reaction just before their heads explode.
They don't wont a repeat.
