During a discussion on O'Reilly about Bill Clinton's recent attempts to compare the Tea Party movement to the impact of conservative talk radio like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, etc. as having caused Timothy McVay to bomb the Oklahomea Federal building, Dick Morris suggested that Bill should zipper it because Clinton had indicated that this is the first time that he has divulged a comment by Bill that he had to renominate Janet Reno for another term as Attorney General or she would go public about Waco.

Clinton WANTED to keep her there because of what is now coming out, that member of Delta Force were involved. This would possibly have violated the Constitution by using US military in a police action against US citizens on US soil. Could have been grounds for impeachment right there.
This all is starting to make sense, because he was ready to blame her and dump her, with his remarks about not knowing what SHE did there.

I don’t know. Dealing with the Clintons has shown to be a very dangerous business.
Perhaps, Dick had to let the Clinton fever die down a bit. He saw what happened to the people who told the truth on Clinton back in Bill’s prime.
Morris was waiting until he could make some money out of this knowledge with his book.
I think terrorists were involved in the Oklahoma bombing.
Morris knew this before he helped Clinton get re-elected in 1996.
Waco was a disaster and janet and clinton should have been tried for it. But let’s also not forget the this coresh (spelling?) creep was molesting children and abusing his followers. That’s not from the clinton administration, it’s from surviving members.

I was overseas in a third world location when the final assault took place and both I and some of the locals were watching CNN and were astonished to see tanks in use against civilians. I thought there was a law about that sort of thing.

Traditionally all Cabinet members offer their resignations at the end of the first term. The President declines to accept the resignations of those he wants to keep, thanks them profusely, and nominates somebody else.

He may have assumed Bill O'Reilly might have read either (or both) of those books (which, of course, assumes Mr. O'Reilly has read books not authored by himself, an assumption Mr. O'Reilly doesn't necessarily leave one open to make); or, that it was common knowledge that he had discussed said exploitation with Droopy-Drawers back in the day.

Morris kind of backed off his original statement about Reno threatening to go public with the truth about Waco. He reverted to “that’s what clinton told me.”
I must have had a sheltered childhood; nobody ever tried to save me from any sort of abuse by firebombing me...
He said it on Hannity as well.
