Washington When Nevada Democrats brought a goat and four chickens to Republican Sue Lowdens campaign office last week to mock her suggestion that the uninsured barter for health care, it said as much about the political state of affairs for Harry Reid as it did his leading opponent.
Lowden was ridiculed by Jay Leno and others for her bartering plan goats for gallbladder surgery? read one Democratic missive. Chickens for checkups?
Lowdens advice for the 500,000 Nevadans without health care coverage was another poor choice of talking points from the casino owner and former one-term state lawmaker who hopes to take down the Senate majority leader in November.

In about five years, there will be a TON of bartering with doctors who exist outside the CommieCare network.
Rush, famously, does not explicitly endorse primary candidates although sometimes his words leave little doubt what he desires.
[Is she not ready for prime time? Nevadans?]
None of them are ready, they just aren’t as crooked as Harry Reid. Fortunately I have written a book that exposes Reid for bribery and more (see tagline). Unfortunately, the Lowden campaign has tried to ignore me. We will see once the radio interviews start.
I heard her being interviewed by Mark Levin. She did well.
There are a couple of interesting twists to the current saga. First, the Las Vegas newspaper...is anti-Reid. This is problem that Reid can’t overcome.
Then you’ve got job losses in Vegas...and it’s not recovered.
Finally, you’ve got a significant amount of the state which is independent voter. I would even go as high as fifty percent. This only invites Tea Party movements to operate and probably drive people further away from Reid’s base.
Well, in all fairness, Jay’s more used to deals where he and a buddy screw someone out of a classic car.

We will be lucky to have chickens for checkups when these A-holes get finished! The chickens will be worth more than cash.
I guess plastic Pelosi won't be able to get her Botox with a chicken though.
I had a small side computer network business that I done barter with other small business for years ...
I did my tax guys computers in exchange for him doing my taxes for at least ten years
I also did computers and computer network repair for my chiropractor in exchanged for chiropractor services for at least five years
I've barter computer services for legal services
And I've even barter computer services with my local bar!
I noticed it didn’t seem to bother Jay Leno as much as the man who killed himself to run over an old man with dementia.
I wonder why we didn’t see a skit about this on SNL. /s
The attacks will take a toll if every mistake she makes gets national attention. It was a gaffe, but hardly a disqualifier. Will Harry Reid’s gaffes get this much ink?
I’ve seen a picture of Rush with Sue Lowden - that tells me he’s supporting her.
What’s the difference between Sharron and Sue - in philosopy ..??
Yes, you’re right .. I do know this .. especially this election.
I’m not plush with funds, but I’m hoping to be able to send whatever little I can to those I really believe need to go to Washington.
If I can get some good info on the tea party candidates, I’ll try to do whatever I can.
“Dingy Harry say ‘Hello’ to Tiny Tom from South Dakota.”
Reid’s as cooked as an Easter ham.
Maybe she should say goats will be worth me than dollars soon.
If I can get some good info on the tea party candidates, Ill try to do whatever I can.

Danny Tarkanian in Nevada Senate Race:
I think Hugh Hewitt has talked about him - I do recognize the name.
Thanks for the info - I’ll check him out.
The poor actually do it. In many places.
And certainly have in our history.
DITTO on the medical care for software services.... Also, my dentist does the same.
Lowden is a huge support of the health savings accounts. I have had this type of insurance for years and love it.
Had some hospitalization a couple of years ago. Told the treating physicians that I was on a high deductible and would be paying cash for the anesthesia and surgery. They cut the bill IN HALF. It was a win win for all. I am sure they would have let me make payments too..
