Palm Desert, CA - 1000 by the TV news estimate; but what was interesting was that this was broadcast two hours before the 5:30pm kickoff time...........so, probably safe to double that number.

Kansas City, KS Tea Party (Community America Baseball Park) —10,000

I know there were other Tea Parties throughout the day in the KC area including one at Liberty Memorial but I don’t know how many were there.

Disregard post #45. Post #46 is a clarification and the 10,000 refers to the same tea party.

*** Yesterday’s estimate for Chicago (2 events) was 7-9 K. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. ***

I can't correct you, but I *believe* there were more than just two Tea Parties. And I'd *think* there had to be more than 7-9K total in the 'greater' Chi Metro Area? (like Elgin, Geneva, Aurora, or Joliet)

[I was doin' my taxes so I was too busy to watch any local news channels.(1)]

(1) Which I don't anyway because they all suck so why waste my time and get aggravated for nothing :-)

I showed an AZ friend this list and she said, “Prescott wasn’t listed. I’d bet there were over 2000 here last night! It was pretty impressive. The courthouse square was packed. We were able to sign up for the Constitution class in June as well! “

Washington, DC's evening rally was hard to say. Early in the show, around 6 or 6:30 PM, they estimated around 25,000. But the crowd grew larger and thicker as the evening rolled on. I would guess that by dark, there were 50,000 or more watching. People were watching from close to the Washington Monument, a little outside of the "approved" area. It was a very good crowd for the most part.

I think that there was one disruption scene early in the show, but security took care of the problem quickly. I couldn't see it from my vantage point. I saw a code pinko woman on a bicycle before the start of the show. She was trying to get the attention of media folks, but most ignored her. A couple of large banners were being carried around by the leftists outside of our perimeter. They were thanking Obambi for the (ficticious) tax cuts that the "other" 95% of the population was enjoying. Being among that "other" 95%, I was wondering exactly where that tax cut was!

Great speakers at the Washington event. Dave Breitbart, Neal Boortz, Michelle Bachmann, and several others. Can't remember all of them, but there were some powerful speakers.

The 200+ I cited earlier was reported by a Cape Girardeau T.V. station (we were the lead story at 6:00). Our local rag reported that security estimated 350. That figure is much closer to what I was thinking.....
