The Boston Herald thinks theyve found the unity ticket for the GOP in 2012. Apparently, Sarah Palin thinks it sounds serious, too. The only question would be the order (via Jules Crittenden):
Conservative superstar Sarah Palin opened the door today to joining forces with Mitt Romney for a 2012 White House run a hot ticket that has some Republicans licking their chops at the prospect of unseating President Obama.
Sounds pretty good, Palin declared at todays Tea Party Express rally on the Common when asked about pairing up with the former Bay State governor giving the idea a big thumbs-up as she left the stage after her headline speech.
Earlier tonight, as Palin stopped for cannoli at Mikes Pastry in the North End, she said she was serious about the idea.
I have a lot of respect for Mitt, she told the Herald.
Asked who would be on top of the ticket, Palin roared, Ha! I havent even thought that far ahead yet.

Anything but Palin at the top, regardless of who the VP is, would be a losing ticket! Agreed. We need some one with some fire and charisma. Someone who truly owns our values, and is not afraid to go out and trumpet them. Romney is just yesterdays oatmeal.

Not only that, in the last few days he actually said he wished he could take credit for Obamacare. Stick a fork in this guy, he’s done!

my mom’s a Kennedy democrat, I learned better, I don’t vote for Massachusetts liberals, don’t care what letter comes after their names or who their VP is.

(and I predicted Obama was unbeatable ticket in 2006)
I predicted in January 2008 that, if McCain were the GOP nominee, he would lose by 2-to-1 to the Dem candidate.
Some things are just too easy.

For a long time my tagline was "John McCain, the Manchurian candidate."
It seems that McCain has passed that title to Mitt Romney.
This may be a head fake by Sarah to minimize sabotage by RINOs in the primary run up. RINOs won't put a knife in her back if they think she will help them get a RINO in.

Dont count on it. Sarah Palin already had the pleasure of running with a super RINO, sell-out coward and hyper arrogant, back stabbing blame merchant and media whore. I doubt shes enthusiastic about a rerun!Sure didn't prevent her from enthusiastically supporting and campaigning for this "super RINO, sell-out coward and hyper arrogant, back stabbing blame merchant and media whore."

You’re ignoring the fact that he turned around a multi-hundred-billion dollar entity... the Massachusetts healthcare and insurance systems. Turned them around in precisely the wrong direction, that is. This documented fact shows that he has no grasp on elementary market forces, and that he’ll take the risk of collapsing an industry to score polital points.
No thanks. He is less qualified than Obama to run an economy.

I will just re-post what another poster said on another thread, as far as Romney is concerned:
“The problem with Romney being the 2012 candidate is that it will take ObamaCare off the table as an issue.....Socialized medicine is supported by both Obama and Romney
Which is why the McCain canidacy was bad....it took Illegal Alien Amnesty off the table as an issue with McCain as a pro-Amnesty candidate....imagine how many Dems would have been brought in with a secure-borders, no amnesty candidate? The GOP got hung up on the myth that hispanics will vote for a pro-amnesty candidate”
If we have Romeny as the GOP nominee, we effectively lose our biggest issue for getting votes and energizing the base, which is 0bamacare. All the Democrats would have to do, is point out that 0bamcare was modeled after Romneycare.
To: Russ
It’s not a matter of purity, Romney pushed socialized medicine on his state, he’s as big a lib as the dork in the Whitehouse today. Having an R after the guy’s name doesn’t suddenly make these positions good.

Can’t see it. Romney is going to have just too many credibility issues in an environment that is going to be all about repeal of Government Health Care.

"The Boston Herald thinks theyve found the unity ticket for the GOP in 2012."
So, another liberal rag is going to try and "pick" our candidates for 2012, huh?
"Romney/Palin", or "Palin/Romney", is a living oxymoron...they don't go together.
Romney is a RINO fraud, and any match between him and Palin would be a catastrophe.
I would regret seeing the forward progress made by Palin in the last year all go to waste by teaming up with this clown. No conservatives will support him, he's a RINO, and is as obsessed with hijacking the nation's healthcare as is obama.
I love Sarah, but if she teams up with Romney I'll have to join with some in saying that she is not presidential material based on unsound judgements.
Sorry, but that's the way it will be...Romney will be the anchor chain around Palin's neck...wait and see.
