I think they should demand the hearings. He probably was stopped since it would take up so much precious time that was needed to shove amnesty down our throats.
They do not want to lose elections in November so lets just get all those illegal aliens legitimized and flood the ballot box..........
Man, if I was one of these CEO’s,
I’d make sure that I had Waxman’s vote on Sarbanes-Oxley,
and say
“First, let’s get one question answered. Who answers to who? Me to you? Or you to the people, including me?”
“Sir, YOU insisted that we account for these costs,
now you’re rebuking us for doing it. Who do you think you are?”
They don’t CARE to do the math,
because it logically takes them past
the point in the issue where they
can claim moral superiority over
those that oppose them.

Companies that have incurred any damage (executive time, travel, hotel, CPA costs, loss of income, damage to reputation) should send Congress a bill, and if timely payment is not forthcoming, file suit.

Answer 1: Because our accountants and lawyers read the bill; did you bother to read it sir?
Answer 1a: Because we are required by laws that YOU passed to immediately account for the financial impacts of new legislation.
