Man, if I was one of these CEO’s,
I’d make sure that I had Waxman’s vote on Sarbanes-Oxley,
and say
“First, let’s get one question answered. Who answers to who? Me to you? Or you to the people, including me?”
“Sir, YOU insisted that we account for these costs,
now you’re rebuking us for doing it. Who do you think you are?”

Companies that have incurred any damage (executive time, travel, hotel, CPA costs, loss of income, damage to reputation) should send Congress a bill, and if timely payment is not forthcoming, file suit.
