Las Vegan Antonio Manriquez stood on the steps of the Lloyd George U.S. Courthouse holding an American flag.

Manriquez was one of nearly 3,500 immigration reform supporters who attended the Rally for America Saturday afternoon in downtown Las Vegas, which was hosted by Reform Immigration for America. The 45-year-old from Mexico City said he's an illegal immigrant who has lived in the U.S. for 20 years. He said he attended rally to push for comprehensive immigration reform, support others who are in the country illegally and to no longer live in fear of being separated from his three children, all born in Las Vegas.

For most Americans, reform means a fence/wall.

For Reid, reform means amnesty (and more voters).

I’m guessing “nearly 3,500” means “way less than 3,500”, which is really way short of the 10,000 they said they were expecting.

One top priority after another. For the next three years. All meant to destroy America. That’s what the ‘rats are about.

Reid in 1993 introduced a tough anti-illegal alien bill.

Just more proof that you can't trust Democrats.

Will the MSM comment on the racial makeup of the demonstrators, like they do with the TEA party rallies?

Will they describe them as “angry”, or “passionate in their convictions”?

Why don’t they just call the bill “save the democrats from November disaster” and be done with it? Since they don’t care at all about public opinion they can still pass it anyway and at least they will get kudos for being honest this one time. And in the spirit of being honest, I suggest Miss Graham put on a tutu and do a little ballet twirl for us.

Every immigration reform proposal has amnesty as its centerpiece with everything else as window-dressing. This is in spite of the fact that the public overwhelmingly abhors amnesty.

I’m for reform.

They need to start enforcing the immigration laws already on the books. The way we’ve been handling it rots.

Here's what the Dems in congress just don't get.

1. If you were a US citizen, and Dem voter, and you saw your party leaders flooding your party with aliens, you just might consider a political makeover; and,

2. If you were a Dem congressperson, and you thought that swelling the voter ranks with legalized illegal aliens was a good idea, you overlook that they will soon morph into a voting bloc, and party, of their own. The hyper-leftie government that the Dems are crafting just begs for power struggles.

Take your political protest home to the streets of Mexico and leave America alone.

This act will unleash a third world population transfer into our country like none before.
It is a nation-killer.
