Steele is right and he loves this country and liberty. I listened to him today at SRLC and if you are even thinking about touching Steele you are on the wrong side. Go pound sand.

His behavior and the behavior of his co-horts(the shade of their skin is unknown to me) is outlandish, embarrasing, and shameful. They’ve all run amok and they just want us to follow them over the cliff. Sorry Charlie, this old lady ain’t goin’ there.

I hereby declare myself independent of the republican(they don’t deserve the respect a capital R would bring) party. I’m still an ultra conservative, but if republicans who claim to represent me indulge their wildest desires or visit lesbian strip clubs on the company dime, they don’t represent me.

affirmative action by election remains affirmative action. Steele lacks the temperament, understanding, or principles. We picked a black to counter Obama, and got many of Obama’s worse character flaws with it.

Cannot believe that people are still supporting Steele....he is no conservative....and would not be surprised if he was a DNC plant

Steele will hurt conservatives chances in 2010 and 2012....cannot have a porn star running the GOP while candidates are emphasizing family values

“The honest answer is yes,” Steele said. “It just is. Barack Obama has a slimmer margin. We all — a lot of folks do. It’s a different role for me to play and others to play, and that’s just the reality of it.”

KMA you moron. When are they going to dump this chump? If this isn’t grounds for dismissal...charging your OWN PARTY wi th racism...WTF is grounds for dismissal?

Steele is a rINO, and worse. Maybe even a democrat plant, to shore up obamma? I would not be surprised, because the republicans would love to do the same thing to the democrats! But most republicans cannot/will not get down into the gutter and fight and scheme like the democrats can!

Let’s put a conservative African-American of acknowledged stature in that position. Examples: Keyes, Sowell. I know there are plenty of others.

The idea that black politicians have a "slimmer margin of error" in politically correct, white-guilt-ridden America is beyond absurd. I am disgusted with Michael Steele for suggesting it.

There has never been a better time to be a black person in America. Our current fraud of a president was elected in large part because guilt-ridden whites wanted to "make history"; and I guarantee you that no white person as unqualified or inexperienced as Barack Obama would ever be elected president.

He is a plant.

No doubt, and many of us said so from the beginning. Appointing Steele as the party chairman was a knee-jerk response by the Republican "leadership" after Obama's election so the party could say "look, we have black leader too! We're not racist!"

The fact is, it was a no-win situation from the beginning. Steele wasn't qualified then, he's not qualified now, and should the Republican party fire him know, it'll set off a maelstrom of "racism" cries in the lamestream media. If they don't fire him now, he becomes a distraction for the mid-term elections and God only knows what other sound bites he'll give the Democrat party and Obama.

IMO, best to fire him now so this all has time to blow over before the mid-term elections, or the Republican Party will suffer the consequences at the ballot box in November. Steele is too big of a distraction at this point to let him have the reigns of power any longer.

This article skewers Steele with truth. I normally scan and hunt key words — this was worth reading from top to bottom.

I also wonder why Steele is keeping everyone confused about his opinion of amnesty?

But “sides differ on outcome”. It appears Steele doesn’t want us to know what his amnesty thoughts are.
