Ron Paul: Barack Obama is Not a Socialist
NEW ORLEANSRepublicans and tea party activists are fond of accusing President Barack Obama of being a socialist, but today party gadfly Ron Paul said they had it wrong.
In the technical sense, in the economic definition, he is not a socialist, the Texas Republican said to a smattering of applause at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference.
Hes a corporatist, Paul quickly added, meaning the president takes care of corporations and corporations take over and run the country.

B. Hussein Obama is a Marxist...Capital M...and has incorporated it with Black Liberation Theology to give us a very toxic stew.
Marxism:
Marxism is summed up as a theory in which class struggle is a central element in the analysis of social change in Western societies. Marxism is the antithesis of capitalism which is defined as an economic system based on the private ownership of the means of production and distribution of goods, characterized by a free competitive market and motivation by profit. Marxism is the system of socialism of which the dominant feature is public ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange.
Black Liberation Theology is primarily devoted to “fairness” and reparations and a seperation from Christian principles as practiced by Western civilization..
Although Cones most obvious target was racism, his message was actually much broader. He also criticized middle-class black churches and argued that racism was only part of the problem. The much larger issue was the failure of Christianity to properly motivate people to care for others. Instead of acting on Christian principles of love and charity, they remain isolated in social or cultural groups.
If you can add two and two, you can figure this out.
A corporatist is a fool in power who feathers his nest with political influence from goons in white shirts and deep pockets. Obama is not even doing that. He’s making sure the capitalist pigs become an endangered species. In Obozo’s world, there will be rich folks, they just won’t be on Wall Street, they’ll all be on Capitol Hill.
Ron Paul is similar to McCain - in that they both attack conservative Republicans more than they attack socialists democrats.
Hard for me to understand why he thinks he’s a corporatist and not a socialist. What has he done to help corporations take over the world? His aim is to help government take over the economy.
Bang!
Someone gets it!
STOP! Stop with the namecalling and just discuss the issue. It’s way more interesting and we all might learn something. You’re all so scared you’ll hear something new.
What is American Corporatism?
“In a (somewhat inaccurate) phrase, socialism for the bourgeois. It has the outward form of capitalism in that it preserves private ownership and private management, but with a crucial difference: as under socialism, government guarantees the flow of material goods, which under true capitalism it does not.”

The Nakita Dean of the Repub Party. Just when you start to tolerate the guy he goes and opens his mouth.
Pray for America
As nutty as he is, he would make a better POTUS than 0bummer
Still, as all of us here know fascists, socialists, communists, barbarians, progressives, and all others of that stripe are, in fact, fascists, socialists, commnists, barbarians, progressives, etc.
It's a million names for the same old same old.
Lets see, everyone in the country will be forced to obtain health insurance, even healthy 21 year olds, all while bailing out unionized industries...
Pay attention, Paul. Pay frickin attention
This is just plain bizarre. O is not a corporatist. He hates corporations.
Paul is correct. Obama IS a corporatise with strong FASCIST inclinations.
I suggest that those who dumped on Ron, one of the smartist libertarians on the national scene today, spend some time with a good dictionary (published before 1960 or so) and look up some terms.
Socialist, no. Marxist, yes.
"Any port in a storm" -- and they are causing and exacerbating the storm.
Marxofascist is an appropriat word. They use "progressive."
He may hate private corporations, but he loves when Governments take control of corporations.
Which may suck for the peasants at the bottom of the latter, but the new government CEO’s and Union Thugs at the top aren’t complaining.
