Democratic Party Image Drops to Record Low
Gallup Poll ^

Posted on 04/08/2010 4:47:13 PM PDT by AlanD

PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans' favorable rating of the Democratic Party dropped to 41% in a late March USA Today/Gallup poll, the lowest point in the 18-year history of this measure. Favorable impressions of the Republican Party are now at 42%, thus closing the gap between the two parties' images that has prevailed for the past four years.

There has been little change by party in the Republican Party's favorable image compared to the late summer 2009 measure, although the percentage of Republicans with a favorable image of their party remains significantly higher than it was in May 2009.

Going on American Idol with unemployment so high and getting worse will only hurt Obama in the polls.

Per my tagline.

The Democratic Party is no longer the party of Zell Miller, Henry Jackson, Sam Nunn, or even for that manner Hubert Humphrey (who drove the Commies out of the DFL, and was very much pro-2A), and even JFK (even stripping away the myth about him). It is now the cover for the CP-USA. It must be removed from power IN ITS ENTIRETY.

The usurper is only 1/3 of the way through his term. Imagine what he can accomplish with another 2 2/3 years!

Americans’ favorable rating of the Democratic Party dropped to 41%

They’ve had a lot of help from the complicit media in achieving this distinction. Lots.. and they ain’t done yet. 8-}

We have 41 votes now. They had already passed CommieCare in the Senate before Brown. Illegally I might add , with the vote of Paul Kirk, the Senator from Massachusetts whose Senate seat required violating the Ex-post facto clause of the Constitution.

I agree. I am shocked—shocked, I tell you—that their approval rating is this high.

Look at PowerLine’s take on the Gallup poll:
http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2010/04/026026.php

The latest Gallup polling contains plenty of bad news for Democrats. First, Americans’ favorable rating of the Democratic Party has dropped to 41 percent, the lowest point in the 18-year history of this measure.

Second, only 28 percent of registered voters say that most members of Congress deserve to be re-elected. Similarly, 65 percent of registered voters say most members of Congress do not deserve re-election. These numbers are, respectively, a new low and a new high.

Third, only 49 percent of registered voters think their own member of Congress deserves to be re-elected. This approaches an all-time low, and is lower than the corresponding numbers in 2006 and 2008.

That’s the truth. If there were any democrats with a voice still around from the 1950’s, I think they would be just as PO’d as the rest of us. I cannot believe that in my short lifetime, the United States has fallen so far. I am only 37.

They hate it when you call them "Democratic." Isn't that enough of a reason to use it?

He is going hell bent for leather until January when he will lose his big margins in the House and Senate.

Obama will be like a man possessed as he tries to jam through his agenda before the election.

The VAT tax will be pushed during the lame duck Congress in December , when all the losing Democrats can still vote and raise taxes on the American people.

You got that right. Don’t think for an instant Putin isn’t
aware that any treaties signed by Obama aren’t legal. He knows the cretin is not a Natural Born Citizen and is therefore illegitimate. Putin is likely planning on not following any part of that treaty, and is going to watch and laugh as Obama goes about destroying our safety.

Obama, the world wide joke.

Democrats are the ones the joke has been pulled off on, and they don’t get it.

It’s a great time for the hard left—they’re jumping for joy.

America is failing.
