President Barack Obama's advisers will remove religious terms such as "Islamic extremism" from the central document outlining the U.S. national security strategy and will use the rewritten document to emphasize that the United States does not view Muslim nations through the lens of terror, counterterrorism officials said.
The change is a significant shift in the National Security Strategy, a document that previously outlined the Bush Doctrine of preventative war and currently states: "The struggle against militant Islamic radicalism is the great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century."
The officials described the changes on condition of anonymity because the document still was being written, and the White House would not discuss it. But rewriting the strategy document will be the latest example of Obama putting his stamp on U.S. foreign policy, like his promises to dismantle nuclear weapons and limit the situations in which they can be used.

Yes, but it also all makes sense if you consider him to be a garden-variety, politically correct left-wing extremist. At a minimum, Obama sympathizes with militant Islam because he shares a common enemy with them--America. But I personally doubt that Obama believes in any God other than himself.

It is a source of consternation that half the people I know still don't get that a Kenyan Muslim is illegitimately occupying the office of President of the U.S.

Dropping the name “War on Terror” should have raised flags for everybody to the right of Newsweek and other extreme lefty media.
I hate even the term Islam and prefer Mohammedan because it is a truer description and avoids their word. I prefer the term homosexual rather than “gay” because the later is their word and it is their pure theft of a perfectly good adjective that means lighthearted and happy.
The only logical course for Americans now is to publicly admit we will all become Christian Militia members, be it as lone individuals, family teams or available as groups should the need arise. It does not matter what faith a person has as long as it traditional Christianity.
Most important is to be as grass roots as possible. same as TEA party, for if there is any assemblage is how it can be targeted. Let the clown declare war against every single citizen in the US, in so many ways he has done so.
This is not the same as preaching to the choir, its apparently needed very soon to show our strength in numbers, made to intimidate ANY opposing force, in a peaceful firm resolve.We have had enough.

I guess we Americans are just going to be bullet sponges and bomb blast meat. Omama wants to be world peas guy and our pain is his gain. He has also said our aging nukes won’t be updated and won’t be used if we are attacked by other nations or terrorists chemical weapons and maybe not even if we are A-bombed. Get ready to be slapped hard America.
And attending a so called church where hating ‘whitie’ and hating ‘America’ was the name of the game sort gave out a huge clue too. Maybe it is why he does not want to go to church.
