Somebody reading the constitution?
Just the beginning of many judicial smack downs to come for Zero!
This government or admdinistration has been acting outside the law since they came into power or rather “seized power” as one of the Czars so aptly put it. This kind of ilk won’t rest until they can silence any and all opposition. It will be up to THE PEOPLE to stop them. CO
I have NO doubt he’s a COMMUNIST. None. CO
Yay!
If they have to vote on it I would be curious to see how it splits out. Plenty of Dems get $$$ from telco workers unions
The backbone providers are NOT a collective entity. They're in business to make money.
If further law/regulation succeeds in some other form of "net neutrality", the big backbone provider should just turn off their routers and fiber repeaters.
First for an hour a day...increasing each day until they reach 24hrs.
Network Neutrality Supporters Back FCC After Court of Appeals Decision
Sen. Kerry looks for ways to make commission’s authority over Internet clear

OOOHRAH! SMOKE ‘EM IF YOU GOT ‘EM.
So the FCC wants to regulate the internet in such a way that over time, they’ll become the only internet provider in America?
The Founders fought for less.
Who would have thought that a government agency set up to regulate something would turn into a tool of tyranny?
I mean, that is so uncommon throughout human history.
YES, this is sarcasm! And I don’t care if you think the FCC is “for the children”.
Good thing this is America. Cause, you know, we're free. Free to choose Bud Lite or Miller Lite and watch UFC or pro wrestling. Nothing more to freedom than that. Especially if the government taxes you at 80% to give you all they think you need in life. Bad things just can't happen here! We're special!
A federal appeals court has ruled that the Federal Communications Commission lacks the authority to require broadband providers to give equal treatment to all Internet traffic flowing over their networks.
Yep. Roger that.
The commies need to figure out the internet controls everything and the folks that control internet should not be pizzed off. If the backbones are shut off you can't buy gas, groceries, go eat at a restaurant etc and pay with a credit card. Cash only. No big deal, just go to an ATM, right? Guess again. ATM = internet connection.
Try something a bit bigger... metropolitan traffic controls. Yea, the mother of all traffic jams.
Manufacturing? Nope. JIT manufacturing communicates on internet connections.
Transportation and trucking? Nope. 18 wheelers gotta buy fuel and that means satellite uplinks to... internet.
Now, try something even bigger, electric grid. Uh-huh, many of the sub-stations and switching stations talk to each other via... internet.
Yep. SkyNet without guns, "because they don't need them."
Still, the National Communications Infrastructure honcho's at DCA COULD seize all "telecommunications assets" in a "National Emergency".
Alas, if I were AT&T, Verizon, Sprint et al, I'd be looking to SELL the assets. The best they'll be able to do over the long-term is a 12% rate of return...just like the old ma Bell.
This is a kick in the balls for leftist Genochockfullofnuts, whose chief spokeswoman is a communist from Robert McChesney’s group “Freepress”.
Let’s see what Geno does next, which will probably be illegal and anti-American.
Mayb Zero should offer to lift the non existent ban on the Internet in exchange for a partial ban, and complete control.
Dumb asses. And I’m talking about the R’s.
No, they won’t. they will just come up with another scheme to try to silence their political enemies using the power of the federal government.
Will the Lawless Congress try to overrule this decision?
