Toward the end of a question-and-answer session with workers at an advanced battery technology manufacturer, a woman named Doris stood to ask the president whether it was a "wise decision to add more taxes to us with the health care" package.
"We are over-taxed as it is," Doris said bluntly.
Obama started out feisty. "Well, let's talk about that, because this is an area where there's been just a whole lot of misinformation, and I'm going to have to work hard over the next several months to clean up a lot of the misapprehensions that people have," the president said.
He then spent the next 17 minutes and 12 seconds lulling the crowd into a daze.

The people indeed are all overtaxed, burdened, no generation has ever had to pay the amount of taxes this one will have to pay, and the next generation will have even MORE to pay. This is not MISINFORMATION, the one who is MISINFORMED, is the kid who grew up in Indonesia who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave in Washington DC.

When you don’t have the facts pile on the words.
I’m attending a Tea Party in Mtn. Home Ar. on the 15th. Do you mind if I use that?
...just like his recent interview with Bret Baier.
Doris is my hero of the day - she put a short, straightforward question to Obama, and it put him on the defensive...so much so that even the Washington Post noticed...
Unfortunately for him, his wordiness does nothing more than indicate that he thinks we aren't overtaxed.
“Obama’s 17-minute, 2,500-word response to woman’s claim of being ‘over-taxed”

“Brevity is the soul of wit. Wordiness is the crutch of an Idiot.”
“When you cant dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit”
Having worked for attorneys, I find I can’t say or write anything in 25 words or less. Obama, who apparently as a law school degree, was trained to prattle on and on. His massive ego only adds to it.
Love your post. Graphic says it all. The fallacy of redistriubtion is that if all of the country’s wealth was spread equally, it would have the unintended consequence of lowering our standard of living BECAUSE it would take capital away from those who are able to best innovate and bring to market new goods and services. Redistribution only gives money to people who don’t deserve it or know how to effectively leverage it to good use.
The only question to Obama that requires a 17 minute answer is “Why do you suck so much as POTUS?”
Its called “fogging”.
I don’t mind at all. Of course, if you’d like it on some buttons, t-shirts, or on a bumper-sticker, I’ve got all of that set up over at Cafepress, here: http://www.cafepress.com/Oceander
If you can't dazzle 'em with diamonds, baffle 'em with bullsh!t.

And after all of that talk, those factory workers listening to that are still over-taxed, and now they’re grumpy.
Here is an interesting video taken January 2, 2009. One only needs to listen to the first 20 seconds to hear Michelle's interesting statement about “home country”. What do you think Michelle meant by her statement?
