Feeling left out by the U.S. Census Bureau?
You are not alone.
According to officials, some Douglas County neighborhoods have been overlooked by census workers who were to deliver forms to residents with post office boxes instead of fixed street addresses.
“My phone has been ringing off the hook,” said Cheryl Bricker, executive director of the Partnership of Community Resources.
“People know April 1 is magic count day and they don't have the form. They're not coming in for assistance because they never got a form.”
Bricker said Wednesday census workers were to distribute official forms to the homes of people with post office boxes.
Residents with street addresses should have received their forms in the mail well before the end of March.
Bricker said she didn't know how many residences may have been missed.
“Supposedly, census workers have canvassed all of Douglas County and delivered forms to homes, leaving them on doorknobs, fences, within gated communities. We're getting calls from people saying, ‘No. We didn't get it.'”

Obama’s census regime is not sending forms to heavy Republican neighborhoods.
They ARE sending 2 forms (not just 1) to heavy DemoRat neighborhoods such as NYC, etc. Not a surprise.

I live in Atascosa County in Texas (near San Antonio) and we didn’t get the form. We called to have it sent to us and they wouldn’t do anything but tell us that there will be another mailing this month (April). I’m dubious, at best.
It was also interesting to hear Rush say yesterday that he has had neither a Census form nor a Census worker in about 40 years. I know that Dems weren’t in control of the Census during all of those years but, methinks that this time around, the only counting zero wants to do is of those on the left and those who aren’t supposedto be here. Those of us who work and pay taxes (to fund zero’s communist paradise) are just supposed to STFU and sit down, I guess.

I live in a part of South Alabama that is predominately Republican and I haven’t received the forms yet. I called the local census office to see if they could mail them to me and was told “no”. I was transferred to a couple of people who quite frankly couldn’t give me any answers and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. The last guy told me if I wanted the forms to go to the local Library. Are these guys representatiuve of the people who want to control our Health care?
Right here in Polk County, MO. Lots of folks here in Fair Play have not received their census form, our household included.
We have called and informed them of it and were told that our town was covered and that we had received our form.
I think our civil rights are being trashed. We will continue to ask for our form and will follow up legally if necessary.
I am calling my state rep today on the subject.

...you are on thin ice with that one, because I, being black, am a minority and I find myself felling belligerent at times but mostly with liberal ideology. I hope your problem with her is that she is on your front porch.
I’m here in El Dorado county, CA and haven’t received anything in the mail this year. But I sure get called upon for jury duty a lot, to say nothing of gettin my income tax forms promptly in the danged mail!!!

Our county tends to run Republican, and neither I nor my conservative neighbor have gotten ours.......but two guys up the street - who are part time census workers this round - have gotten theirs.
From what I’ve heard, no one has ever gone to jail for not sending in a census form. That was then; this is now. Does anyone think that Obama and his administration will get tough this time around?
