Our gov’t will not do anything until something horrible happens that kills thousands in some Texas border town.

They won't do anything then, either. It is in the interest of this regime to promte the disintegration of our borders.

“Our gov’t will not do anything until something horrible happens that kills thousands in some Texas border town. Considering who is in the WH currently, they may not do much then....”

Thousands died on 9/11 and Bush refused to effectively secure the border...in fact, later, he insulted us all by sending in the National Guard, unarmed. There is a BI-PARTISAN PROGRESSIVE effort by the Open Borders Lobby and the New World Order elites to destroy our sovereignty, our economy, and anything else necessary to usher in a EU style of government.

I agree. No one knows if they have not been invited.
But ok as long as some “patriots” don´t start to attack
the Holloman Air force base in new mexico for example (Becuase this base is “occupied” by the german air force
since years) to get rid of all those evil foreign military invaders no harm is taken. ;-)

Yea, that’s what I was thinking. How would a rotor shaft handle a 30-06 armor round. Bitch wouldn’t even know what hit him.

That main rotor mast is an awfully small target.

Much likelier hit: aim for the tail rotor, especially if the helicopter is at a hover or in slow flight, like when he’s looking for something or someone.

Loss of tail rotor effectiveness below translational lift airspeed will cause the aircraft to spin madly. The pilot has no choice but to dump main rotor thrust and a controlled crash is the best he can hope for.

However, be darn sure of your target.

Accidental border crossings by organized forces happen all the time, in most every region that has rugged and poorly regulated borders. This is absolutely non-news.

If this was AZ or NM I would agree - the border area on eithe rside looks pretty much the same there. But in this case, the Rio Grande is a pretty large and obvious terrain feature, there are no other rivers out there to get confused with it. I was assuming this is a daylight incident - a night incident would be a different matter (but then how could they claim its a Mexican helo in the first place?)

True but who says that it was even an “Accidental border crossings”? Possible but its allso possible that they have been “invited” because no one knows for shure what final destination they had. Again for example in new mexico you
will be able to see german tornados (sometimes armed) flying around.

Hey, you guys got it all wrong. The American government is negotiating to do something about it. They have approached the Dallas Cowboys with a proposal to get the game officials to throw an honorary five-yard penalty against the Mexicans in the very first game.

True enough. But there are also things like training flights for novice pilots, cross-border drug enforcement operations, etc.

In any case, I don’t think the Republic of Mexico is invading the United States of America. I’m inclined to think it was an accident and/or a cooperative issue.
