BROWNSVILLE, Texas The defense department says it is investigating reports of a Mexican military helicopter seen flying in Texas.
Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez says several people reported seeing the aircraft on Sunday flying over an RV park near Zapata, some 100 miles northwest of McAllen on the border with Mexico.

Our gov’t will not do anything until something horrible happens that kills thousands in some Texas border town. Considering who is in the WH currently, they may not do much then....well, except arrest the surviving Americans, possibly...sigh...
Wassa-matter? Can’t they see the river from their helicopter? LOL ...
Just wondering... do not citizens have a right and an obligation to resist invasion by foreign military forces?
If a Texas rancher sees a Mexican Air Force helicopter above his land, doesn’t he have the right and responsibility to shoot it?
Only if it full of white, right wing, tea party militia men who don’t support national health care.../s
“...investigating reports...”
What...Either they did, or they didn’t...This is not that hard to figure out...Regional ATC has the radar data, If anyone on the ground these days was smart they’d have camera’s taking pics of the thing...
Just a whole lot of things working for us...
But then again a good confirmation would be wreakage...
They sure are violating the airspace more often these days...You’d think we’d scramble some air defense assets to force them to be a little better on thier navigation, at the very least, of course...
I think they are covering their drug running with these encursions, and no one is saying this publically...
But then again, what else is new...We don’t have a southern border anymore...
These headlines need a date of the incident, otherwise its just news of the same incident over and over.
Or if this is another incursion.
Assisting
In situations like that you have to ask “What would Ernie Holmes do?”
If he likes to spend years in jail then YES.
Otherwise i would not recommend it ;-)
wondering if pot shots arent allowed - curious how the ole 45/70 might make the spinny thing react
Well, sure.....it’s Texas airspace NOW. Give it a few more Obama months.
You forgot Christian.
I don’t want the DHS coming after me...
Probably assisting.. Mexico's government ARE/is DRUG DEALERS..
it just depends on which cabal is in power at the time..
But then democracy is now and always has been Mob Rule.. by mobsters..
Are you kidding? Let me clue you folks in on something. You’ll be hard pressed to find many white folks anywhere southwest of I-10 or I-37. Anywhere south of a line between Corpus, San Antonio and Del Rio you’ll be lucky if they speak English.
There are towns down there where the only thing that looks like they are part of the United States is the post office.
That country is under siege. White ranchers are like the white farmers of Zimbabwe and the other “citizens” just don’t want to be sucked into the maelstrom that is Mexico.
The last time I flew into Laredo, there were six Mexican helos and one fixed-wing (737?) Mexican aircraft on the tarmac. I figured they were there for some sort of training with the DEA and/or border patrol.
Anyway, the next day the Laredo newspaper posted reports of “unconfirmed sightings” of Mexican aircraft at the airport. Really?
How hard would it have been to drive over to the airport and check it out. You could see the aircraft from the highway.
Anyway, probably a lot to do about nothing.
“Cuban helicopter spotted in Texas airspace” ??
