MOUNT DORA A doctor who considers the national health-care overhaul to be bad medicine for the country posted a sign on his office door telling patients who voted for President Barack Obama to seek care "elsewhere." "I'm not turning anybody away that would be unethical," Dr. Jack Cassell, 56, a Mount Dora urologist and a registered Republican opposed to the health plan, told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. "But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it." The sign reads: "If you voted for Obama
seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years."

Another blindspot of the left is that they cannot understand that nothing can be a “right” that imposes an involuntary burden on another person or claims a “right” to a portion of another person’s life.
Sounds good to me.. sadly, I am in Japan and can’t directly get it. Hopefully, someone will record it and put it up on LiveLeak or YouTube. :)

Pinging the lists as a FYI for those of you that may be in the medical community that have not seen this Florida doctor’s statement.
(BTW: RUSH started his show yesterday with the below.)
A doctor who considers the national health-care overhaul to be bad medicine for the country posted a sign on his office door telling patients who voted for President Barack Obama to seek care “elsewhere.” “I’m not turning anybody away that would be unethical,” Dr. Jack Cassell, 56, a Mount Dora urologist and a registered Republican opposed to the health plan, told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. “But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it.” The sign reads: “If you voted for Obama seek urologic care elsewhere. Estella Chatman, 67, of Eustis, whose daughter snapped a photo of the typewritten sign, sent the picture to U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, the Orlando Democrat who riled Republicans last year when he characterized the GOP's idea of health care as, "If you get sick, America Die quickly." ...The outspoken Grayson described Cassell's sign as "ridiculous." "I'm disgusted," he said. "Maybe he thinks the Hippocratic Oath says, Do no good.' If this is the face of the right wing in America, it's the face of cruelty. Why don't they change the name of the Republican Party to the Sore Loser Party?"
Really Congressman Grayson?
I thought we were all "winners" once when your power trip health care theft occurred?
What this doctor is doing is what happens when the producers of nations that go Communist do - they get tired of pulling the wagon for all the sloths who just want to ride in it.
I had a friend once who gave up a very successful Dental practice to become a Proctologist...said he couldnt take the thought of spending the rest of his life looking down peoples throats. There was a protologist who got tired of the grind and decided to start a new career. Settling on being an automobile mechanic, he enrolled in mechanics' school.
That's a good thing....
The trouble ain't that there is too many fools, but that the lightning ain't distributed right.
If all the fools in this world should die, lordly God how lonely I should be.

Pi$$er!
Hahahaha...thanks for the morning laugh.
I am sorry for your loss, and may your friend rest in peace.
The really sad thing is that the Canadian system is working exactly as intended. By putting terminally ill patients on months-long lists, they avoid expensive life-saving treatments and after-surgery care. The point of government-controlled health care “reform” is about saving the system and draining more wealth from the country, not saving the people, not by a long shot.
“Speaking of Grayson, I bet hes already considering a law requiring doctors to accept Medicare patients.”
Do we know whether or not this isn’t something already buried in the bill?
Doctors are paid a pittance by Medicaid and Medicare and many are already refusing to take either. If it happens, it’s going to cause a greater shortage of doctors, especially primary care...and so the rationing of care begins. My primary care doc was all for Obamacare, especially for the uninsured. I wonder how she’s going to feel when she figures out she’s about to become a government employee.
I loved this. I hope other docs follow suit. As long as they don’t start quizzing people, they have the right to express their beliefs. Political beliefs/views are not protected rights as are race, gender, and age.
Main character in one of Ayn Rand’s books (I think it’s Atlas Shrugged, maybe). Google him and you’ll see a lot I am sure.
Notice my tagline. This doesn’t have to stop with one doctor.
Cool - I love it.
People I’ve worked for and my two Dr’s are all Republicans and I intend to keep it that way.
We ALL need to take a page out of the good doctor's book...
We ALL need to take a page out of the good doctor's book...
Thanks...
I think you’re right, yet that’s what our representatives are giving us...not good.
