Sarah Palin is throwing her support behind a key endorser of Republican Congressional Candidate Will Breazeale. On Tuesday, Palin gave her endorsement of the Combat Veterans for Congress Political Action Committee. The group, dedicated to soldiers with "Embedded Integrity," has issued unwavering support for Breazeale in the North Carolina District 7 Primary. This included holding a fundraiser for him in February.
Palin stated, "There are a number of great veteran candidates running for office this year, and there are some excellent organizations dedicated to helping them, including Combat Veterans for Congress. I believe that these great veterans will fight for us in D.C. to uphold and defend our Constitution as courageously in the halls of Congress as they did on the field of battle."
"I was so honored that Governor Palin chose to endorse Combat Veterans for Congress," observed Breazeale. "If anyone knows anything about embedded integrity, it is Sarah Palin. For her to stand with a group that has so emphatically stood with our campaign, is truly touching."

Palin bashers to arrive in 2 mins.
Pray for America and Nov
Ya know..of all the high steppin all mighty great goons like Gingrich we have in this party. NOT ONE of them has come forth like this gal to support candidates.
I am all for her to run for the big “W” house. F all the rest of the johnny come lately assholes.
Know what? Better yet. Lets start a drive to get the floppy paws out of the RNC and put an adult in place there. I think Palin would run the place with both arms behind her back better’n they do.
I don’t see Sarah getting much criticism when she endorses conservatives - it’s when she endorses liberals like John McCain that she DOES and SHOULD be criticised.
That’s a reasonable statement. I think Sarah deserves praise for this endorsement. As for borders, we might not learn much until after Hayworth tosses McCainiac into a cactus.
I don’t like or care much for McCain, but most of the Sarah bashers are bashing her mostly because they have their OWN candidates that they are pushing and/or just hate her...it true.
I don’t think of Gingrich as a goon. He’s a bit of a schemer at times, but he also seems to be a statesman. As for Palin — she rocks!
OK, fair enough. But where on FR can we find criticism about these other endorsements? You can't. Can't you see, most of the critical comments about her McCain endorsement on FR is coming from people who don't like her regardless. They just use it as an excuse to bash her.
Tancredo endorsed Romney
DeMint endorsed Romney
Hunter endorsed Huckabee
Thompson endorsed McCain
Gingrich endorsed Scozzafava
Pawlenty endorsed McCain
I can remember seeing criticism in ALL of the examples you’ve given. I, myself, criticised Duncan Hunter - who I have the greatest admiration & respect for - as I do Sarah Palin.
But the whole Tea Party movement is because we are tired of “politics as usual”. When leaders do things that run contrary to what they say - they should be called on it. It doesn’t mean you are subversively pushing another candidate, our leaders should be responsive to us - they should have to answer to us. To not be allowed to criticise someone, no matter how much we like them - that’s not the kind of country I want to live in.
The problem for Palin is, the more she identifies herself with McCain, the more she diminishes her stature with conservatives. She’s watering down her own brand.
Gingrich endorsed Scozzafava
Are you kidding? There was TONS of criticism leveled at Newt over this!
That seems a little of a stretch to me. Why doesn’t the candidate get Palin to endorse him directly? “She endorsed my supporter” just sounds a little desperate.
In this case, she didn’t “endorse” the candidate, she said she supported an organization that has endorsed him.
Don’t forget: Tom Coburn endorsed John McCain.
I’m curious, is that this year or was that in 2008?
But from most of those bashing Palin over the McCain endorsement their dislike for her did not start with that endorsement, not will it end with her next great speech at a TEA Party or standing room only town hall.
Sorry, that was another of the 2008 primary endorsements. I was just adding it to the list of primary endorsements the other posted listed.
I agree with you. Some have a deep seeded hatred for Palin and have been using the McCain endorsement for over the top comments. ("FUSP" and likening her to a *ahem* "Lady of the evening", for example)
I'm not happy about the McCain endorsement either but I sure love that Palin is out front leading the charge for us and not ashamed of her conservatism.
