VAN SUSTEREN: Governor Palin, if you were vice president today, what would you be telling a President McCain about what to do about immigration, if anything?
PALIN: I support his position on immigration. It all comes down to securing the border. And he who has actually proposed some solutions, the Obama administration does not want to listen to Senator McCain or any other Republican, and that, of course, leads to a greater problem that we have in Washington, D.C. And it's that lack of the new administration's ability and enthusiasm for listening to those on the other side of the aisle who have some good solutions that they want considered.

You sound hysterical. How could pissant affect the GOP selection of McCain, is pissant that powerful? LOL! the Beltway boys and the media worked together to shove McCain onto us and we were forced to vote for him, with Palin the consolation.
To: wyowolf
But But But shes Sarah Palin!! Whenever i bring up the fact that she bends over backwards to support McCain I get all kinds of cute comments She's Rick Santorum in drag.

That’s why your post was dumb. You are talking about no-name people and trying to compare them to Sarah Palin. Were she to sign on here, she would not only be warmly welcomed, she would be prized!

If I had to choose between McCain, Romney, and Huckabee....you go with Huckabee. The other two are way too liberal
Really?
Can you point to any large # previous FR Posters who got banned for being McCain boosters?
I know it happened with the Rudy and Mitt boosters, but that was usually because they lied about some of their non-conservative positions, usually Anti-Pro-Life.

Try to follow the conversation, if you're going to butt-in.I saw post 308, and with all due respect...anyone who dares to promote (or apologize for) McCain or his radical progressivism can go to h#(*!

Huckabee is a pro-tax nanny stater who thinks that if he blathers enough about being pro-life, it will fool enough conservatives to get him elected. I see NO reason to prefer him to Mitt or McQueeg.

Exactly, Palin gets a pass for supporting McCain while Jane Q. Freeper would get flayed.

So Rabs, when are you going to go full-throttle against the unethical actions of your guy Ron Paul?
Until you do, everything you post is hypocritical.

You're right. Furthermore, like Mitt, he is a professional practioner of Identity politics.

"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
The irony of that post compared to your lack of objectivity and forthrightness in attacking your own guy for his unethical behavior is mind-boggling.

If you guys want to turn this mini-thread into a Ron Paul debate, I’m outta here. I agree with -some- of what Paul says, but not nearly enough to want him in any national office. See ya later....

She has seemed soft on illegal immigration for a long time but could have clarified her ideas before she entangled herself with the worst liberal RINO of all, now she is muzzled and must choose carefully what she says.
We know all about McCain's drive for amnesty and his associates. So when she "supports his position", there you are. It's as clear as that.
And we cannot afford to let 0bama push for amnesty, which is going to do soon.
