Bombshell Uncovered: Obama's Newly Anointed Labor Board Czar: No Punishment for Hiring Illegals, SAYS SANCTIONS ARE DISCRIMINATORY
http://www.breitbart.tv/uncovered-audio-obamas-new-nlrb-appointee-pushes-no-punishment-for-hiring-illegals/
We’d also have to have the monetary capacity - to pay for extra security, food, camps, transportation, federal employees. I can’t imagine that such a “round-up” would be easy, quick, cheap or even without violence.
Now we COULD start it if we had the political will - but will the will still be there as the costs expand? As the news stories of violence and videos of weeping, screaming children torn from their mothers’ arms circulate? As the chattering heads on cable begin to debate it? The political will will disappear after a few months.
It is cheaper for American business to do it this way. That is why this situation is permitted to continue. It will cost them money in wages to hire American citizens. American citizens can’t be threatened with deportation if they complain about their hours processing chickens or picking mushrooms or any of the other jobs that they are doing instead of citizens.
If American business want illegals gone, don’t you think that they’d be lobbying for it at the White House and in Congress?
WEll of course we Could but the expense and logistics are horrendous.
How much simpler to just deny them jobs and benefits, which is BTW also the LEGAL thing to do and they leave.
bye bye
don’t let the border dirt hit you. :)
The Democrats know they need the votes! come november will be a bad time for them...sooooo lets get the illegals vote!
Not punishing those who hire illegals? Then who is going to pay taxes?
Undercutting the job security and paychecks of Americans for a new constituency. Welcome to Brazil
“Heres a couple of accounts of this totally unAmerican, unlawful police action:

Well, first your sources are a bit liberal, don’t you think?
And second, it was under the Bush admin. who was softer on aliens than anyone.
From your article:
“more than 260 were charged as serious criminals for using false Social Security numbers or residency papers, and most were sentenced to five months in prison.”
The law was applied. The aliens knew they were breaking the law when they used some US citizen’s SS #. You or I would certainly be charged if we had done the same.
You might want to read some other FR threads about this ‘incident’ (enforcing the LAW) and see what others had to say.

CEDAR RAPIDS - Two supervisors at the Agriprocessors kosher meatpacking plant in Postville on Thursday became the first known members of the company’s management to be arrested after a federal immigration raid of the company in May. A federal arrest warrant has been issued for another Agriprocessors employee whose whereabouts are unknown. Juan Carlos Guerrero-Espinoza, 35, and Martin De La Rosa-Loera, 43, are accused of encouraging illegal immigrants to work at the plant, in some cases even helping them obtain false documents before the raid. The two men were arrested at Agriprocessors on Thursday morning by U.S. marshals and were...

"Warned us"? You have been advocating this.
LOL How is enforcing the law unlawful?
Dane, is that you?
No...I said that this was inevitable...and much better to be portrayed as a supporter to their desire to become citizens, than some kook fringe the MSM will paint as bigots.
Please, I remember several times you advocated this using the "It's the Christian thing to do" argument. We've had our go arounds on this. Your position has always been to give in to the illegals and allow them to stay.
...and much better to be portrayed as a supporter to their desire to become citizens...
We've been through this too. They don't want to be U.S. citizens. At least, the majority don't. They want to make some money and go back home 'rich'.
...than some kook fringe the MSM will paint as bigots.
Like you have just done?
please help and give what you can. www.repealthehealthbill.org
Yes, they are liberal sources. Weird, huh? Will you be chopping my head off for this? Or shall you give me 50 lashes across my back?
Here’s another view of the Postville raids, from a Jewish website. I choose this particular account of the unnatural and inhumane police action in Iowa ‘08 because some Jews are big fans of the LAW—it means the world to them.

The ‘Jewish’ leadership however, also advocates AMNESTY. Like the Mormon Church, various Catholic groups who seem to care less about what their memberships think. Most religious leadership is as lacking these days as most government.
As for your baiting opening lines, I’m clear about what I say, so stop making more out of it than it is. This issue is more important than you or I.
Religious Leaders vs. Members: An Examination of Contrasting Views on Immigration

Poll: Pew and Pulpit Disagree on Immigration Zogby Survey Finds Religious Leaders and Members at Odds WASHINGTON (December 29, 2009) - In contrast to many national religious leaders who are lobbying for increases in immigration, a new Zogby poll of likely voters who belong to the same religious communities finds strong support for reducing overall immigration. Moreover, members strongly disagree with their leaders contention that more immigrant workers need to be allowed into the country. Also, most parishioners and congregants prefer more enforcement to cause illegal workers to go home, rather than legalization of illegal immigrants, which most religious leaders...
“LOL How is enforcing the law unlawful?”
Which “laws” were these critters enforcing, that dark day in May 2008?
Can you cite them?
I almost miss Dane.
Looks like we got us a couple real live FROBL’s here, don’t it?
lol

Goodnight, Raybbr

Raybbr, you’re being baited into a futile, time wasting endeavor. Major has already been reminded (in the article he referred to) on this thread that there was ID theft, etc....you know the kind of CRIMES they lock US citizens up for every day....where their poor children don’t get to see their CRIMINAL parents.
wow.
If we get card check and amnesty, what will the effect be for the present union workers? I tend to think that the legal/current workers can only be hurt by millions of newly legal workers competing for their union jobs. The unions will get rich on the additional dues, but not forever, right?
Are there any long term benefits from this?
“As for your baiting opening lines, Im clear about what I say, so stop making more out of it than it is. This issue is more important than you or I.”
Where do you get off telling me what to do? Are you my master?
My boss? My superior? My commanding officer?
I mean, what are you to me?
And no, this “issue” is not more important than I am. What a perverse thing for you to assert. Or allege. Or claim.
ROFLMAO!
Yep, you are one of the squatter support squad. All you can do is whine. You can suggest all sorts of vile things against me, I don’t care. It won’t change the facts that you can’t dispute.
Just grow a pair and come out and say it. You, unlike 80% of the citizens of this country, want AMNESTY for these lawbreakers.
YES, I said it. LAWBREAKERS.
