This is interesting. I wonder why the numbers are breaking down like they are?

One thing I’m wondering about NM...is a GOP candidate for governor going to have to be much more libertarian, like Johnson was?

(This isn’t an argument for or against libertarianism, I’m just wondering if that’s how things break down politically in NM).

Isn’t she the one that Bill Richardson supposedly tried to put the moves on, which cost him the VP slot?

Here is your answer:
The survey was conducted Wednesday night, three days after the U.S. House of Representatives passed the long-debated national health care plan. Overall support for the plan is greater among voters in New Mexico than among voters in the nation as a whole.
Fifty-three percent (53%) of New Mexico voters favor the plan, with 32% who Strongly Favor it. Forty-four percent (44%) oppose the plan, including 40% who Strongly Oppose.”,/i>

New Mexico may be one of the very few states where 0bamacare may not lead to massive Democratic Party losses. Good news is, by far voters in most states, strongly oppose 0bamcare.

No—they have to be liberal. Santa Fe and Taos are full of hippie moonbats who were just too weird for California.

She has name recognition over the GOPers. None of them has held statewide office before. She is vulnerable in a number of ways. The winner of the primary is going to need money and an aggressive campaign to breakthrough in this corrupt blue state.

They look pretty pally to me here:

She went public with the fact that he was grabbing or pinching her behind. Something like that. 1 day story.

And also telling:

When it comes to health care decisions, 47% of voters in New Mexico fear private insurance companies more than the federal government. Forty-three percent (43%) fear the federal government more.

There are so many on the Federal dole here in NM, they look at the Federal government as benefactor not dictator.

Regarding the election, I believe the only one who has a chance against Denish is another woman, in this case a conservative Hispanic who since 1996 has consistently beat the Dims down in Las Cruces to be elected District Attorney: Susana Martinez

The only thing you EVER need to know about New Mexico...

“All calculations based on experience elsewhere, fail in New Mexico.” ~ Governor Lew Wallace, Territorial Governor of New Mexico from 1878 - 1881

I love the place, but it’s... different...
