Sunrise in Searchlight. The place is crowded already at 6:30am. Anyone else here?
I think the Democrats will manipulate markets as Obama’s reelection bid approaches. Gas will go down....etc.. He’s over two years away from that date, so they don’t care about his popularity - - they care about their power.
Anyone who runs into Sarah Palin or her advance people, PLEASE tell her to take some voice lessons. Her voice is too high and shrill and it is a big turn off. Her message is fine. Her voice is like chalk on a blackboard and she can work on that. Seriesly, take it down a few bars.

This is not small, petty crap. Sarah Palin sounds like a screeching harpy. I like her but I cannot stand her voice and if I like her and can’t stand her voice, what if someone is on the fence about any and all things conservative can’t stand her voice? They are going to be turned off. Have you ever been interviewed on TV, radio or been on a stage? If you annoy people they’ll turn away.
Me, DU? I’m trying to pass along some advice. I’m a true conservative. If Sarah Palin wants to capitalize on being a public speaker, she should play her voice back on a continuous loop feed until she gets the point. Everyone has flaws, even Sarah. She needs to work on her voice, I’m just sayin’. It’s not like I said she was bad. Kill the shrill, Sarah!

Searchlight is nothing but a wide spot in the road, but there is plenty of desert around it for those who want to camp out.
Seeing the traffic on the road in some of those photos indicates to me that there could well have been in excess of 10,000. A lot of the locals took the “shortcut” by way of the dam and down through Kingman to Bullhead City, then back up, and I don’t think that route was photographed at all.
So maybe 12,000 to 15,000 is closer to the mark. If they could park where there could get TV reception, I’m sure they counted themselves “at” the rally. Works for me!
Any word on the rally in Las Vegas after the SL rally?
Focus on the philosophy -— the Hollywood presentation stuff should be the last consideration with an informed voter.
Not too many showed there, as it was “only Ann Coulter,” speaking. About 500-1000. Scary Reid was at the new gun park, and he slithered through an interview with an oily comment about the Tea Party being in Searchlight.
I suspect when they get to St. George today, the whole city will turn out. Or close to it.
I hope they get a big turn out everywhere.
The Liberal media is all over us Tea Party People, I love it.
Thanks for the update. I guess there was way too much traffic to make it back to LV in time from Searchlight.
It must have been a massive jam when the doings in Searchlight were over.
